Guest anthonws Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Hi, Small bug. After I end a call, if I use "TaskManager" and kill all processes the dialer screen appears with the end call button. I press the end call but nothing happens. If I press the "home" button it goes to home screen with no problem. But, each time I run "TaskManager" it's the same problem. Thanks! P.S. Battery life is great!!! I'm running since Saturday night (I bought it on Saturday) with lot's of interaction and it's with 15% :P Anthon.
Guest LoganX78 Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 having to much mms is a problem. Moreover you have backed up you sms an donut and restore them an eclair. That is not a good thing to do Malez i backup the sms from 0.008 and now all is slow. I have to delete them but i look also new sms arrived make application slow. Have you noticed about that? Piter say it's a problem also on old roms, but is it a way to fix it?
Guest elban Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Hello, I have some problems with gallery on LCR 1.5. Apart from the crashes, it can't load pictures from sdcard, only from picasa. Same images can be loaded with ES file explorer, though, so sdcard is fine. Thanks
Guest tueac Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) I have a problem after flashing to the 0.14 firmware, and then installing the bootloader. my phone is stuck after the Android screen... on a blank screen... And i can't connect it to the computer unless i go into bootloader mode... My A1 can't detect my phone and i can't re-flash it... Please help! Thanks, i solved my problem with a new superboot img... Guest efukt Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 I found out that when i'm in the gallery it's only the "Camera (pictures taken with the liquid camera)" folder that is showing the pictures very low quality and taking ages before it shows the picture at a good quality. All my other folders in gallery with downloaded pictures or pictures transfered from the computer to another folder on the SDcard works fine, they load in like 1second.
Guest malez Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) Camera issue will be fixed on 1.5.1 (it was a kernel issue) I have added a fix in the opened issue, so you can correct it now http://code.google.com/p/acer-liquid-commu...es/detail?id=89 Install it using the NO SIGN CHECK option Maybe it will also solve some wifi instability that were reported here but i can't be sure, so keep us informed if you had this problem Edited May 10, 2010 by malez
Guest malez Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) THANK YOU! YOU ARE A SUPERHUMAN! No, as Daft Punk say "human after all" :P For me, have to provide a patch only 2 days after release is a fault. But now i hope people won't forget to apply this patch before we can release the next version. Edited May 10, 2010 by malez
Guest Uberadri Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) Thanks! Now camcorder works! Edit: Btw, there is one other thing that might be a bug in this rom: Wifi takes about twice as long to connect, compared to Donut ACR. Edited May 10, 2010 by Uberadri

Guest Quipeace Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Alright, two things for now. First of all, launcher2.apk seems to have lost the nice little bump when you reach the end of the app list, the new one just stops. Second of all, jkappswitcher force closes every time upon starting. Are those things specific to 0.014?
Guest bais Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) The Launcher2.apk is an Acer one, it's slightly different from the N1's, the 0.004 and 0.008 used a N1 Launcher, non modified. -Like you said it the Launcher doesn't bump when you reach the top or the bottom. -It's faster (I tried both Acer one and AOSP on 0.010 bin and there's some difference) + the Acer one app drawer is as fast with or without LW, the old one become a little sluggish when you use LW. -It's not centered like the old one, can't explain that thought. Guest Quipeace Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) Alright, eehm. My wifi connection is fine and I can access my local network, but I DO NOT have an internet connection! Can't browse or connect to google services. Back to where I was this morning until I have time to try reflashing. @bais, thanks :P Edited May 10, 2010 by Quipeace

Can't browse or connect to google services. Guest globalworld Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Applied the camera fix and now I can't activate wifi anymore. Seems different from other people, I can't even activate the WiFi connection. I reverted back to the original boot.img and wifi worked again.
Guest Quipeace Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Alright, the camera "fix" seems to break the internet connection, it was fine without it but after flashing the package I lost my connection.
Guest liquid_it Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Alright, the camera "fix" seems to break the internet connection, it was fine without it but after flashing the package I lost my connection. can't confirm this one. My connection still works fine on wifi (tested on wpa) and on 3g.
Guest emajano Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Here is some questions.. 1. How can I turn off the SIM sync "account" permanently. coz i'll never need that. I have de same problem, any idea?. Thanks
Guest Redline66 Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 can't confirm this one. My connection still works fine on wifi (tested on wpa) and on 3g. wpa here too, but not access to Internet after flashing the "camcorder-fix" boot.img. Also wiped cache and dalvik-cache, did not solve the Internet issue :P
Guest malez Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 I have added the original boot image to the issue http://code.google.com/p/acer-liquid-commu...es/detail?id=89 so you can restore it. It's late but i want to be able to fix this bug tonight. I am really sorry
Guest zero0130 Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 sorry i want to have a Smoked Glass bar with black on the top which theme is it?
Guest liquid_it Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 wpa here too, but not access to Internet after flashing the "camcorder-fix" boot.img. Also wiped cache and dalvik-cache, did not solve the Internet issue :P try to delete the stored password, and reboot your access point.. just to exclude it's all about some configuration that got broken..
Guest Redline66 Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 try to delete the stored password, and reboot your access point.. just to exclude it's all about some configuration that got broken.. Did all this - no change, no Internet access despite a working and stable wifi connection. I just reflashed the original LCR 1.5 boot.img, and my Internet access is back... but no camcorder of course :D Obviously Malez fix for the camcorder issue broke sth else in the network config / libs. As Internet access is more important to me than the camera, I will stay with the previous boot.img until Malez has time to sort it out :P
