1.1 of course. Piter and I are working on it. (testing and finalizing it). Just be patient. We will release as soon as we consider to have a stable and efficient product. I will be back on Monday.

Edit: sms should be faster and Bouygues Telecom users won't have to change apn to send mms.

well~~ thx malez and yeah you deserve some rest, have a nice weekend~~:-)

Is it possible to make the "audio hack" as a separate zip-file so it can be flashed without the complete LCR 1.5?

just a little poll ?

Do you find we must keep

Me neither :)

Can't wait for LCR 1.6 .. still using 1.5 on 1.0 bin ..

Malez, can you put Launcher pro in LCR 1.6 as the default launcher? People seem to love this launcher, me too ;)

No. Just keep the rom light. It's easy to add voice search later.

I think its cool to publish it without. People who use them can easily add them on right?

Those two are usually one of the first things I get rid of in past ROMs. Leave them out and I'll grab them from the older packs when I need them. Saves me some trouble.:)

I'm in favour to remove them in order to keep the rom as light as possible, and keep place for some more "useful" apps such as NemoPlayer or Acer Settings (that includes in last rom a useful option to totally stop any data connection during a specified time frame)

I 'm still using LCR 1.5 on bin 016 and just wait LCR 1.6 to upgrade to bin 1.0. When will it be available (LCR is the only cooked rom to offer a working APPS2SD option, and solve issues such as slow SMS or Nexus live wallpaper)

Many thanks again to all LCR team for your great work :)

Final version seems ready. We have added a final touch to improve performance of network and the ability to disable it in case of issue.

Google code is in reead only mode this evening, so it will be uploaded tomorrow.

Changelog is not written yet. So upload and update LCr page will be done tomorrow morning.

Sorry for the stupid noob question. Here we go :

How can one upgrade from LCR 1.5 (with rom 0.1x) to LCR 1.6 (with rom 1.x) without loosing SMS, apps and stuff ?

Is it ok to create a titanium backup with all user apps + system data, install the new LCR, then restore the backup ?

Yes LCR 1.6 is out. Hope you will enjoy it !

From 1.5 to 1.6

  • based on Acer_LiquidE_1.100.05_EMEA bin file. Flash THIS bin file before installing is recommanded but you can also flash the rom on top of 0.14 or 0.16 bin. Update recovery to at least 0.5.3 too

  • really faster than original bin

  • some battery optimizations

  • black themed (white theme patch will be provided)

  • optimized network for better performances (can be disabled)

  • fixed Bouygues Telecom MMS issues (issue 78) use Hancent to send mms.

  • Launcher choice at startup (to unselect default one : Settings / Application / Filter ALL / Select defaut launcher and choose 'remove default action' )

  • many optimizations (Framework, Contacts, Live wallpapers, Mms)

  • added a Notes app

  • removed xt9

  • removed Voice search and accessibility tools

  • updated Maps

  • updated Barcode scanner

  • updated titanium backup

  • updated Deskclock Launcher

  • and more....

Many thanks to Piter who has joint LCR and made a really good job on this rom.

Important :

If you want better battery performance disable haptic feedback (use spare part) and vibration in HTC mod keyboard (keyboard settings / Text input / Vibrate on input)

Launcher management

To revert to the launcher choice when you have selected a default launcher : Settings / Applications / Filter ALL / Select defaut launcher and choose 'remove default action'

You can remove integrated launcher from the rom : run gscript lite / Option / Add script / Load file choose the removeXXXX.sh that suits your wish / Save /Run it.

Hope you wil enjoy this version :)
