I don't think so, because when I flash the LCR1.5, I can do everything. ( the same WIFI )

Sure you have not restored anything from backup? You don't use any application that modifies apn?

Thanks for your answer, my step is:

1,flash the 1.100ROM, skip the google account sign up.

2,write the recovery, and get into the recovery to flash the lcr1.6.

3,when setup the google account, sync the phone num.

4,open the wifi, then can't open web page.

the same step with lcr1.5, no this problem.

Do not restore anything from backup, and no use any application that modifies apn.

Hi everyone.

I'm encountering a problem with the rom.

Sometimes the SD card is unmounted automaticaly by the phone, so I can't acces it anymore. I have to restart the phone to be able to use it.

What could be the problem?

Try to clean the sd card connector. It is you sd card reader, or your sd card itself.

Running 1.6 now, seems to be stable so far! Apps2SD working too! 1.5 was pretty stable too BTW, although some apps crashed (Pixelpipe Facebook comes to mind.) Hmm I guess maybe I'll try the market enabler again...

Haven't tried so many apps yet on the new ROM, but I do have a question: Why are there FOUR different launchers installed now? xD In the end I still used Home++ though. I guess I like the looping screen feature.

I just noticed that there was no alarm clock application on my phone, is it removed in this rom? or have I encountered some bug?

Alarm is included. You can configure it running "Alarm" or "Clock" app

What's the preferred way to backup your apps when you update firmware? Nandroid is apparently no-no, what about titan backup?

I'm using Titanium backup, even paid for it so I don't need to "Allow" every single application. Well worth it.

Sorry to post this link her but, I don't know if you knew this link (Sorry for my bad English) : http://mobile.acer.com/phones/liquide/

And it say that Liquid E has 512 MB of RAM... Maybe Roms will be better on a Real Liquid E. (And also that's why Liquid E is more expensive than Liquid First edition)

Yeah, it does infact say it's got 512MB of ram :(

Oh well, never felt the ram being a bottleneck

EDIT: However, pretty much every other website states that it's got 512MB of ROM and 256MB of RAM

Like this one: http://www.product-reviews.net/2010/02/17/...ndroid-details/

I think that official Acer site has better info that other portals :D

Titanium is the best way but you should never retore system app.

Some operating system (e.g. Windows Vista and Windows 7, but probabily also Android) don't like keys with spaces.

If wrong key is entered, sometime devices say 'connected', but data sent/received are wrong (due to the wrong key).

The WiFi keys are NOT connection passwords, but scrambling keys.

Ciao, Piero.

P.S. Spaces are a big problem when key ends with them. Spaces inside a key are normally not a problem.

To be honnest i have not tested it for a while.

I have mad a try with a swap file on vfat file but not on a real swap patition.

I think you can activate it with swapon and keep it permanent on each boot with ins_run
