Seems to be better. Even sendind MMS with Bouygue provider works

If you have a huge number of sms/mms, encouter long delay on opening them, and want to help us, please do this

adb pull /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db mmssms.db

adb pull /data/data/com.android.mms/shared_prefs/com.android.mms_preferences.xml com.android.mms_preferences.xml

and provide me these files (mmssms.db and com.android.mms_preferences.xml)

I can't really help here I'm afraid, though handcent takes ages to load I have only +/- 50 sms on my phone...

You say it takes ages, so you have a problem. Could you send me you database please so i could test on 1.7. I don't have enough sms on mine (i could give you my phone number but i am not so crazy :) )

I successfully applied the LRC 1.6 rom yesterday but its seems APPS2SD is not working.

1) In malez recover, I already created a swap=32MB, a partition of 512MB, upgarde ext to ext2

2) But when I check in the "Spare Parts" app on my liquid - "Data storage option" - its seems that APP2SD is not turned on or working. The "SDCARD - extfs partition" is greyed out. The "Use App / Dalvik-Cache Option - Apps2SD" button is alos greyed out.

Can someone please help what step I missed to get Apps2SD working? Thanks.

The spare parts are not the best tool to check app2SD status, it was taken from other device, not compiled for LCR

To check app2sd go into recovery, there is an option for checking app2sd status.

about sms opening slowlyness... could it be related to the number of threads/topics instead of sms? or maybe how many contacts displayed have a picture?

If StreamUi is just an option and default UI will be kept in LCR-1.7 - does this mean that P-sensor will work fine?

Actually I prefer default UI and would give preference to P-sensor if I had to chose....

As long as I could find out, the point is exactly this. But to me problem is solved using framework and apks from liquid stream dump, so it looks like LCR 1.7 won't have this bug. FYI at the moment I have > 250 sms from about 10 contacts with no lag at all, while I couldn't keep a total amount of more than 50-60 sms from no more than 4-5 contacts with eclair framework from 1.100 leak.

i have approx 1800 messages, but i dont get ure instructions, if u could explain a little bit more, then i might be able to send u the required messages...

(it takes around 3 mins to load my messages.... using stock 2.1)

3 possibilities :

1) adb shell apps2sd status (you computer)

2) su

apps2sd status (in terminal emulator on your phone)

3) in recovery
