Guest rasbora Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 Problem with "ON-OFF" Dolby Mobile and in-call volume is not solved. I think, problem arose because number of levels volume in liquid and liquid streem -differently. I hope this can be corrected
Guest devoluti0n Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 (edited) You are the one !! Try to root using the recovery - latest method . (LCR is already rooted out of box except for you ;) ) Well, actually, when I install the rom, it's rooted. Then I don't know what I touch, but it disappears. in recovery, if I use the "Is this system rooted ?" script, it says it is... And when I want to root it trough the latest method, I have an error, which is : "Run 'root.sh on 2' via adb console or malez menu!" Sorry about that, do you have any clue ? Edit : I tried to root it trough cmd. Guest devoluti0n Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 No free space on system parition. You have putted apps in /system ? I flashed the latest bin, then I installed the rom, which is supposed to format the whole thing, but the SD card isn't it ? I didn't touch anything else. I just switched from acer <- > android UI, played with launchers to see which one I prefer. Back up my apps, use some scripts to change sensitivity. I've saved my SD content in a folder, and formated it. I'm going to reflash my phone with the compatible bin, then the rom and see if it bugs again. Sorry for my bad english, I'm french, I know you are too, but we are in an english board...
Guest gengaro86 Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 There's something wrong. Yesterday I was complaining about the battery drainage, today something is TERRIBLY wrong. 10 hours uptime, twitter set to 5 minutes refresh (to stress the battery), Google Talk always on, I tweeted, I've sent emails (two), I listened to music, I've used GPS, .. and 59% battery left. o_O' I believe this is the first time someone complains about TOO much battery left.
Guest devoluti0n Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 (edited) -Ok, I formated my sd card, I re-flashed the bin, and the rom. -I synced my google account. -I choose the acer UI. -I choose the "Accueil" Launcher (the first one, the pretty one...) -I odex-ed my app -I increased sensitivity -I rebooted. Superuser app has disappeared again... I don't know what cause that in what I did. Maybe the odex ? I tried to reset the rom to factory settings. It made it force closes in chains. I try to flash it one last time, keeping it to android UI and not to the acer one. Then I'll do the same things, and keep you aware... Edit : It seems I don't have this issue anymore if I don't use the acer UI. edit2: I just restarted my phone, it force closes again... com.android.com Flashing the rom again... Do you know what this really do ? I doubt. Morover i am sure you had error messages while processing. Don't do it. That is the reason why you have no more free space. Just reflash the LCR (update.zip) and don't odex Edited June 24, 2010 by malez

Guest sss_ddk Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 (edited) I have a problem since i flashed 1.005 E. When i'm calling someone, i don't hear the ringtone...until the person answers. Same with MCR 1.7. any ideas? (sorry if this has been posted before....couldn't find the topic). PS: LCR 1.7 on top of liquidE 1.005 with phone ring volume set to maximum. SOLVED: reflashed LCR 1.7 again... No idea what changed though but it solved the issue. Edited June 24, 2010 by sss_ddk

On LCR 1.7 it work sometimes (worked for when dialing a phone for wich i never hear it). It seems to depend of the kind of phone you are dialing. Call work well even if you don't hear anything waiting for the other site to answer Edited June 24, 2010 by malez
Guest Liquidator Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 A really annoying thing in 1.7: During a call, I cannot press the Home button to go to the homescreen. It just doesnt do anything. Menu & search work like normal; Home does nothing. As a result I cannot acces my calendar or contacs during a call... which is seriously annoying! Any solution please?

Guest Liquidator Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Ah, thanks... wonder why I didn't try that myself... routine animal :-)
Guest MrVanes Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Just a small note to let the brave and mighty developers of LCR know that I'm back to 1.6. 1.7 just didn't cut it for me because of the FC bug in contacts, battery usage, lagginess, device temperature and UI regression (I like UI of 1.6 better than both Acer and Android UI of stream ROM and not updating widgets in LauncherPro is a hell). Too bad I'm back at the 2g/3g switching bug, because that really was fixed in 1.7 for me. Anyway, keep up the good work and make my day with a stable Froyo release some day! ;)
Guest Gryx Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 I wyped dalvik and then i had 12 mb extra memory!! Thanks malez! How did you delete it?
Guest simoneser Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 (edited) Go in Recovery>Wipe>Wipe Dalvik-Cache ;) Edited June 24, 2010 by simoneser

Guest DavidFrog Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 For the first days with LCR1.7, battery performance are nos as good as in LCR1.6 ... for mostly the same use, it's difficult to get enough battery from 8AM to 11PM .... ;) is the navigation/gps working well in google map ?? yesterday it was no very efficient and indicate me a 500 meters precision only... maybe just a trouble at this moment, will try again later this day. by the way, how to change de Battery indicator to go back to the nice circular one shown in LCR1.6 ? thanks david

Thanks devs for the great work, I'd like to donate, do you have a common paypal account for LCR ? Btw, what is the license for Acer stream UI ? Isn't there a risk to see Acer reacting about your rom now ?

I will provide the framwork with circular battery usage. Battery usage is really a problem in 1.7. I don't know what to think about this version, despite the huge amout of hours spent creating it. I am a bit disapointed.
