Guest Piter1225 Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 okay. fine so. thanks;) you don't know the problem of google maps? All what can I say about Google maps is that I don't use them too  But it is natural, that sometimes apps are fc when not used, I have same with Touiteur in background
Guest malez Posted June 25, 2010 Report Posted June 25, 2010 I have new issues. Market don't work. I can“t download the updates for the apps. the message "starting download"(or something like that, im portuguese) don't disappear and don't start the download. Why? And google maps, sometimes need force close, even I don't using it. What can I do?? I don't have issue with maps but next time it crash, run sendlog to get the log for analyse please. Nice to see you here piter. It was a long time. I currently manage to have a battery consumption of 3.84% in standy with background dl, ephemeric dl, no net localization, 2 google sync ok, 1 twitter and 1 email pull/h. Do you think it is correct or do i need to search more ?
Guest Palmada Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 (edited) Juske click an hold the "123" button on your keybord then "Imput Method" and then "HTC IME" Thanks! And I have a new problem =P The lock screen key doesn't work. I don't know what started this... But I have to wait for the screen to go to sleep for the screen to be locked! I've tried restarting the phone but nothing else... Anyone had a similar issue? EDIT: Found the issue. Apparently this isn't mentioned anywhere here on the thread (didn't check the entire forum to be honest) but the Spare Parts app lists the power button as the "End Button". I must've changed it just by accessing and clicking back without selection and it defaulted to "Do nothing" in Spare Parts. Just in case other people have the same problem. Guest HustlinDaily Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 I have a question. IF we want the Android 2.0 lockscreen, where do we push it file to- http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...2-0-lockscreen/ Would follow the directions in this post but kinda scared because of the Stream stuff (it did not work on Streamachouny).

Guest HustlinDaily Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 Thanks but did not work (stuck in boot amination, would freeze and restart again) Restored my nanandroid.

I am building a 1.7_patch1 but tests are needed : What will be included : - new overclocked kernel with iptables, swap support... (compiled by phhusson) - battery usage fixed on android ui - ability to use the AOSP dialer. - other corrections - maybe some software update Maybe a full 1.7.1 will be provided a little later. I am coding / testing. Just be patient please

Guest Gnask Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Hi everyone. I still have the problem about the system not saving the default home preference. I just reflashed 1.7 and then it worked fine. The very moment I updated LauncherPro the problem came back. Any ideas? Thanks.
Guest efukt Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 The rom works great, really satisfied with it guys BUT, have anyone a clue about this thing. I send an sms message and i recieve them normally then suddenly i send one and i dont get an reply back. Then i send another one and ask the person same thing again and call him and he says i have sent the sms already. then suddenly it comes. Sometimes i have to restart the phone and it recieves it, like the phone goes to sleep mode and dont recieve. Is this a provider problem or could it be the phone/ROM? yeah and when i finally recieve the sms it shows the correct time the person sent it.
