Guest malez Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 (edited) I already have Overclocked. Need I turn back again to apply your update? or can I apply without changes? you kernel will be replaced when patching. What version do you use ? I plan to use the 920Mhz image because i don"t want any user to have issue. Have you seens changes in battery consumption or any bug you had not before with the nex kernel ? EDIT : as phh is working really hard on it and release new version really often, maybe i won't include the new boot image now. I would like to thank him for all the work he do. I am really intersting about your opinion Edited June 28, 2010 by malez
Guest malez Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 That would be great ! I really need that too ! thanks ! There is a a file provided to increase screen sensitivity. I don"t think it wil have effect on softkeys but let's have a tried. Otherwise I will need to find the good /proc entry (maybe there is no entry for this) Gscript -> increaseSensitivity.sh

I am really intersting about your opinion I use 920Mhz, I don't try another, because I think that this is the best, I don't have any issue, and the phone is really fast. battery consumption increased a little, but with the help of setCPU we can better control. I have 1.100.05 bin file. If I can give more help, say what do you need
Guest HustlinDaily Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Awesome malez. Looking forward to it (tho the current LCR 1.7 on 998MHz is amazing) Will the next LCR include phh's multitouch fix? Or is that FroYo only?

Guest droug Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 So, what do you will include in your next patch? I think 920 is the best option, no freezes, no reboots.
Guest sunshine333 Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 After doing a Nandroid restore of my LCR 1.7 install, my market downloading has stopped working. It's stuck at the dreaded "starting download". I also tried restoring several other Nandroid backups of 1.6 and froyo, all have the same problem now. This hasn't happened to me before. Most of the info I've read about this problem says that it was resolved after a number of hours or days of just waiting, or by switching to wifi. I've tried wifi and waited several days now and still no success. Does anyone have any solutions or ideas?
Guest toadwong001 Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 I just flash the rom and there is no CONTACT in my CONTACT even I sync with my google a/c.....does anyone encounter same problem?
Guest toadwong001 Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 I just flash the rom and there is no CONTACT in my CONTACT even I sync with my google a/c.....does anyone encounter same problem? but calendar sync is okay.......please help!!!
Guest HustlinDaily Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 Zero problems with contact/calendar sync here but I have been having problems with GMail sync. It deletes off my phone but not my GMail account. Also I recently discovered that GMail does not have copy and paste but FroYo Gmail does. Is this a FroYo/Eclair thing or my version of GMail? (Never attempted to use copy and paste up until a couple of days ago). Don't know when this problem began. Did have it before phh kernel. Not 100% sure if it is related to LCR 1.7 or bais' LCR 1.7 theme. Don't want to remove either because LCR 1.7 is amazing and bais' theme is beautiful. So decided to live with it.

Guest malez Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 I'm pretty sure the problem was there before. Must be relative to Gmail.apk from theme. Not this king of problem with base conf.

Guest sukka69 Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 Can't find how to zoom in ans zoom out for camera under 1.7 ROM, can someone help. Thanks.
Guest alfarobl Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 For LCR 1.6 and LCR 1.7, be sure tu use the 1.100.05 bin file. If that is not the case, reflash it. Can you upgrade from LCR 1.6 to LCR 1.7 directly via update.zip (recovery) or you need to reflash the 1.100.05 bin again before upgrade?

Guest malez Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Can't find how to zoom in ans zoom out for camera under 1.7 ROM, can someone help. Thanks. There is no zoom in camera app, only in camera video recorder. I will have a look an see if I can integrate the standard camera app and let user choose wick one tu use. (The one one in LCR is really greter than original but has no digital zoom. - It is nearly useless taking picturing because you can crop it later)
