LCR 1.7 patch 1 is available

From 1.7 to 1.7.1 (for the moment only a patch is provided, not a rom, so install it on trop of the 1.7 (the full 1.7.1 will be provided soon)

* Fixed battery usage

* Audio hack for in call sound (a bit louder)

* Fix sound reverb on app like Sipdroid

* Fix slow gallery

* Fix camera (note that zoom in camera is available when taking picture under 2M resolution)

* Ability to use standard eclair AOSP dialer in LCR_UI.txt

* will remove Notes application (Titanium backup it before applying if you want to keep it)

* Updated Google Maps 4.3

* Updated sendlog

* Updated Launcher Pro 0.6.3

* Updated ADW 0.8.9 => If you slide up, status bar will hide/show. If you slide down, notification bar will display

* Updated Titanium Backup 3.2.7

* Updated android term

To gain in space usage, it is recommanded you uninstall all updates for these application before applying (they can be removed after but you won't have the preconf for launchers in this case). ALWAYS DO A NANDROID BACKUP FIRST.

Always reboot at leat once after first boot to be sure everything is well applied.

malez will you release a patch to remove apps when you don't use the stream ui? I would like to have some more memory. I deleted some apps using titanium backup but my internal memory is still the same.

boot.img is unchanged, so you have nothing to do if you were already OC

No I didn't delete anything, I flashed all over again.

LCR 1.7, Patch, then modify LCR UI, then reboot, the apps disappeared :lol:, can someone else try?

You have modified the LCR UI file after applying the patch and BEFORE rebooting ?

File must be kept as it is during the first boot. Reinstall the patch and reboot normally

I'm not sure I understand this.

I have 1.7 and already had updated Maps & Launcher Pro using Market. So I have to uninstall updates ? How do I do that ? Using Titanium ?

Thanks for your help, and tanks in advance for this p1 !

In Settings / applications, you can uninstall the updates before applying the patch to gain in user space. The will be updated by the patch.

I reflashed patch, waited for boot and reboots, then changed LCR UI, then rebooted again.

But still, the Phone apps probably exists (it asks me for PIN Code on boot), but I don't have Contacts nor Phone apps.

The fact you have changed the file before first boot created a bug you files must be empty

give me adb shell df => maybe your system partition is full

then

adb shell rm -fr /system/bak

reflash this patch and tell me

You must set THIS_CONF_MUST_BE_APPLIED to 1 in LCR_UI.txt on sdcard.
