I have already encountered the same problem. Reinstall full ... has fixed the problem.

When I had this issue, I did not set my google account, can be that's it that? I have import my vcard and after do the setting of my google account.

Hey guys,

havin some trouble with my Liquid lately. Installed LCR + patch and now my Maps crash and are unusable. It always works for a bit and then i get a few messages that the maps app needs to be closed. When I restart the same happens again. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Cleard my SD card and did a hardreset. And nothing worked. Just now after a hardreset it happened again when i started SetCPU and it asked for Root access.

Any ideas? Thanks

I have reflashed everything to have a perfectly clean ROM. without the overclocked kernel and with the patch everything works like a charm and the battery life is good. however it lacks on thing to make this rom perfect is a patch/hack/script to increase the sensitivity of the touch buttons (the screen sensitivity doesn't apply to the buttons !!)

Went back to a nadroid with LCR 1.6 and flashed 1.7 and patch v2 and no kernel panic up to now. Liquid looks hot with WIFI or 3G on , that's the only issue I feel.

I'm on vache's rom right now to try test some new overclocks, the pattern unlock is working like that without doing anything, I just set the pattern and it worked out of the box.

I found a bug:

I've done a backup with Titanium of my call history, but if i restore it in LCR 1.7p1 i can't modify any contact number because a something.gapps process crashes. Everything works fine until i restore that backup.

I was able to reproduce the bug, but sadly i've overwritten this backup by mistake and i can't provide the file :lol:

Reinstall 1. 7 + p 1

That will fix. Do you have a logcat of the crash ?

You can also try to remove all accounts and contacts and re-add them

To have better battery drainage, use ACER android UI, not stream

go to setting->application->user interface->ACER UI

mind you, it's not as smooth as the android one, and drains battery much faster, but with the patch 1.7.1 this is improved. but it has some eye-candy stuffs if you wanna try. :D

Oh, it was for LCR1.7, only got 1.6 now because the lockscreen I want didn't work for 1.7:P

Is there any way for applying an audio hack whitout messing with the rom itself? I'm obviously a dumb, but this low voice call volume is really annoying, so without a proper fix, i have to use somthing what is not based on the stream dump. But i am going to miss the dolby mobile really.

It was a great lockscreen and I do miss it but LCR 1.7 is so much better.

I think the 2.0 lockscreen is way cuter than the lockscreen they got in 2.1, so, I don't know if I wanna let it go.. :)

If you want a button, place a shorcut to the camera on your desktop. Select the camera app in drawer, and drag/drop it to desktop.

Record can be done at 480p max.

If you have crashed with camera try to run the gscript "fixcamera". Be sure you have installed latest patch

Have you installed the p1 patch ?
