[...] Whenever I press the analog camera button, the phone shakes and the photos become blurry.

Hello

I was bothered by that too, but by pressing completely (not in 2 steps) on the button it is easier to make clear photos.

Well, the code that malez had asked me to execute somehow didn't execute and kept on giving me an error.. and when I tried to view the contents of the /data/DxDrm folder from a file manager, it showed that the directory was empty...

It actually did work you just had to remove the two ' from the code.

adb shell ins_run rmDxDrmLogs rm -f /data/DxDrm/Log*
[/codebox]

Edit : WTF ? Big code box for short code ! Sorry for polluting forum with my huge code box :/

Yes, I think this is the right way !

It's more than probably not needed but maybe you should boot at least one time between flashing LCR 1.7 and LCR 1.7.1 :)

So :

1)format sd card

2)aply Acer_LiquidE_1.100.05_EMEA.bin

3)install malez recovery

4)copy 1.7 signed file to the sd card

5)flash lcr 1.7 with malez recovery

5b) MAYBE reboot

6)copy 1.7.1 patch v2

7)flash 1.7.1 patch v2

In fact there is no need to reboot between the 2 zip

If you can"t apply your ui changes after applying the patch, and after rebooting

adb shell rm_runOnce 30_firstboot

Reinstall 1. 7 + p 1

That will fix. Do you have a logcat of the crash ?

You can also try to remove all accounts and contacts and re-add them

I've already solved it, i just had to avoid restoring call history with titanium backup after LCR 1.7p1 reinstall.

I can't provide a logcat, as i deleted the backup file :) but i tried several times and i'm sure of the source of the problem.

So, if someone has this problem (unable to add numbers to contacts and gapps process crashing) just reinstall LCR 1.7 and DO NOT restore call history with titanium backup (avoid restoring all data with that program, deselect call history)

Have you installed the p1 patch ?

If you mean this: LCR_patch1.7to1.7.1_v2.zip, then yes, i have installed the patch.

I have now flashed LCR and the base bin 3 times, did a full wipe, backup etc. Everything should be fine but each time I boot my phone it freezes! As I understand no one but me has this problem?

Hi Chaps,

Installed LCR 1.7 plus latest patch v2 a few days ago. Everthing is going great, phone is real fast. A few observations that may or may not have been mentioned.

1. The battery indicator seems to be wrong, always showing less battery than you really have.

2. The charging indicator at the top of the phone does not stop flashing even when fully charged so I keep leaving it on charge even though it's done.

3. The calculator app - has lost it's scientific part - i.e. scroll left/right to get an advanced calc. this one seems pretty basic. The stock one is much better.

Hope that helps?

Thanks

p.s. Great Rom!

2 : I think that when phone's charging it blinks and when it's fully charged it just lights (without blinking)

That's correct. Now it just keeps blinking even though the battery is at 100% - i've waited for a while to see it would stop "blinking" - but it does not.

That's because the Stream doesn't have any LEDs, so they improvised and got basic LED support (and thank you for that :D).

Malez wrote something about at Google code.

Turn the Liquid in Landscape mode :) This calculator is much much better than the original one...

thanks dude. Calc in Landscape mode is just what I needed, and agree with you this is better than stock

I did check the bug list before I posted, I guess I missed that one.

Thanks

is there an option for how fast the system goes to home screen when i press home button?

i find it extremely slow(around 1 sec). in lcr 1.6 it was instant.

the whole system is extremely fast.the only slow thing is this.maybe its launcher pro problem?

Houston we've got a problem!

Installed 1.7 and then after a restart applied the 1.7.1 patch.

First it started up until the lockscreen, started to load (probably did something to the sd-card) and then occasionally restarted the phone (not all the time).

Later on there were problems with making a call, it looked like it freezed.

Then it just did restart after restart caught in a loop where it never really booted.

Removed the battery, since I was on the move and needed to make a call.

Now it started properly, but all homescreens except the Pro were gone.

And I also couldn't switch between apps when doing a long press, there was just a quick buzz from the haptic feedback.

Reinstallion again from scratch?

Could it be any of the apps I installed (backed up with Astro, but still installed from the respective .apk;s as it is done from Astro)?

FIXED:

It was the damn Liquid Steam UI that was the culprit.

Switched to Android UI and now there is no problem!

Now i'm changing back to lCR 1.6. With this low voice call volume problem i cannot use this rom, with or without the patch, because applying patch makes no difference. Dolby mobile i'm going to miss you :_(
