Guest Dona' Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 (edited) Hey everyone... Can someone find the settings for the P-sensor? I can't find it, and I need to adjust it Hi, I think you won't find them. The Stream probably hasn't got a p-sensor and the settings app comes from the stream dump (see http://goo.gl/gHnm http://goo.gl/mOUr). So, no p-sensor settings. Edited July 8, 2010 by Dona'

Guest malez Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 +2 :) this is a good question, it would be nice to see the differences between the liquidE os What is sure is that we will loose dolby in LCR 1.8 if the base is the latest bin. LCR 1.7.2 full will be provided soon.
Guest Ayur Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 What is sure is that we will loose dolby in LCR 1.8 if the base is the latest bin. LCR 1.7.2 full will be provided soon. The Stream-framework isn't compatible with the new bin? I guess we have to hope for another Stream Leak then...
Guest malez Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 The Stream-framework isn't compatible with the new bin? I guess we have to hope for another Stream Leak then... I also hope another strem leak will come. But it seems that you can even install lcr 1.7 on top of the latest acer update
Guest Liquidator Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 I did install 1.7 + patch on top of 1.000.39, and it works splendidly, no problems so far! A question about 1.7: The Acer Clock app (the screen with weather, charging status and four buttons for music, photos, alarm and something i don't remember) is gone, and just the alarm clock remains... any way to get the whole app back?
Guest VooDoo7mx Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Is 1.7.2 based on the new official ROM 1.100.39 or still on the olf leaked 1.100.05? I hope it´s not filled up with the stream crap. Personally I prefer lightweight, vanilla android and speed instead of a useless, laggy UI that eats up system resources for breakfast. But thats just my humble opinion. Please don´t get me wrong, I really like your work and appreciate the time and effort you are putting in.

But it seems that you can even install lcr 1.7 on top of the latest acer update Well I didn't have to flash a new bin to flash LCR on my Rogers Liquid E. In fact, someone lost their GPS doing that. Can someone update the wiki? Here's my writeup: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=721885 Edited July 10, 2010 by xaueious

Download DeskClock Launcher from Market, it will bring it back
Guest Liquidator Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Download DeskClock Launcher from Market, it will bring it back Thanks, that brought the app back. Unfortunately, in the clock app now the alarm clock button doesn't work anymore...
Guest malez Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Download DeskClock Launcher from Market, it will bring it back You can even download Cedric app (thank you Cedric) , or just press the botto left clock on the clock app installed in LCR

To answaer you 1.7.2 will be a new stream version 1.8 will be based on acer official eclair update. We are working on both

Guest Liquidator Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 You can even download Cedric app (thank you Cedric) , or just press the botto left clock on the clock app installed in LCR I'm sorry, I don't understand what you wrote. Afaik there's no clock app in LCR? And Cedrics app is DeskClockLuncher, right? And this bottom left button in DCL doesn't work, thats the problem..

Everything is smooth, with low memory usage, and of course a lot usefull things from the stream...
Guest Barleyman Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Daft question gentlemen. What should I backup with titan backup from the SYSTEM apps/settings to safely migrate my contacts, sms', carrier settings and other such things which are a PITA to restore manually and/or lose?
Guest Master_T Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) Hi guys, I have a problem... I flashed the new 1.100.39 and it booted ok, I flashed LCR 1.7 on top of it and now the phone won't start, just a black screen after the acer logo!! I'm on the edge of panic, please tell me there's a way to reflash the official rom or solve this issue.... EDIT: ok, I'm reflashing official ROM... still, does anybody know why this is happening? Edited July 10, 2010 by Master_T
Guest Dona' Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Had the same problem, I tried reflashing LCR again and it worked (without patch)
Guest Master_T Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) Had the same problem, I tried reflashing LCR again and it worked (without patch) Nope, tried several times, no result! I'll try the b70p rom now, let's see if I have better luck... PS: did you wipe data/factory reset before flashing LCR? Maybe I shouldn't do it? EDIT: p70p 1.9.5 seems to work... it must be something to do with LCR.... hope for a new LCR release soon, it's my favourite ROM!! Cheers! Edited July 10, 2010 by Master_T

To answaer you 1.7.2 will be a new stream version 1.8 will be based on acer official eclair update. We are working on both Thanks for the info! And LCR 1.7 is still very fast once you removed the stream stuff. I just didnt get the point why putting it in first place. Guess Im using 1.100.05 witch LCR 1.7 till 1.8 emereges! Keep up the good work!

I will try to release 1.7.2next week (nearly ready but if have applied it as a patch so the full 1.7.2 must be rebuilt and validated), then I will continue on working on 1.8 with Piter and Vache (work is already started). Don't wipe after install full 1.7 and install patch, it should work, or way for 1.7.2 Edited July 10, 2010 by malez
