Looks like a great release, but really a little too bloated for my liking. I suppose I'll flash it in a minute to see how it performs.

I've also just send an email to reppard who developed the configuration tool, about whether he will release the source code or not, because I think it could be much more than just a UI configuration tool (think along the ways of update notification, displaying release notes, known bugs, report bugs, etc).

I hope to hear from him soon.

By the way, did anyone else have problems downloading v1.7.2 via chrome 6.0.466 for Windows? It would simply say it's done after a couple seconds, leaving me with an incomplete archive.

For me the gallery doesn't have multitouch on the thumbnails like Froyo.

And also, since official 2.1 update I have a problem with the gallery, the thumbnails don't match the pictures, for some folders there's no preview at all.

What can be the reason?

I have the problem with the non-matching thumbnails too but only with LCR 1.7.2

ok just finished installation.

also flash and 880mhz kernel

super fast phone.

everything works very nice

i also used restore with titanium backup and also used the import function of htc_ime keyboard and the phone is like it was before in 10 minutes.

@edit!someone just called me. i was hearing him like he was shouting!!!very very nice fix!!!!!

To fix Gallery, just run fixGallery.sh script using gscript.

No ring back tone is a bin issue. Even official eclair update have the issue.

Volume of call was not loud enough before. It is really fixed in 1.7.2

I am having a weird problem.

Everything was working fine, then I applied the fixGallery.sh file (or whatever it is called).

Phone automatically went into reboot but frooze up after Acer screen. So I took out and replaced the battery and turned it back on.

It booted up normally but for some reason my SD Card is read as Unmounted (wtf?). I have all my apps and davlik on SD and the apps are working fine.

Also the Syncing logo has been on there for a long time. I go to Accounts & Sync and cancel sync but the syncing logo remains on my sdcard.

And also I get force closes from some program named acore.

Problem in Settings\Applications\Manage Applications

When you uninstall an app and go back there is the "infinite loading". :angry:

But in the stock ROM the problem was solved.

This release seems to be quite unstable on my device. Whatever I do, the phone freezes within 30 secs or so after booting.

I flashed the 1.100.39 bin right before installing this last LCR release, and reinstalled several times, but still, no luck. It keeps on crashing.

I got back with 1.7.1 patched, no problems for now. cross fingers...

BTW thanks for all you do for the liquid community :angry:

Reflashed everything.

Some process called acore keeps force closing. And it is continually syncing. No idea wtf it is syncing with.

Does LCR 1.7.1 work on 1.000.39?

by mistake I uninstall the gallery..

With "adb install gallery3d.apk" says that install faild update incompatible.

acore is your home app force-closing..... and no - my liquid galaxy does not have acore fc and is based on .39

I think this is still based on the stream dump and not the new bin..

I think I found the problem.

I used the wrong batch operation in Titanium Backup (restored everything backed up) and it caused something to malfunction. Reflashed the bin and did Titanium differently (missing apps only and launcherpro settings) and so far (one hour) it has been running as smooth as LCR 1.7-p1 (which was very very smooth).
