Yes any of the LCR 1.7 kernels will work with 1.7.2 (I am using the 998MHz and Liquid Tether worked perfectly).

The Gallery app in LCR 1.7.2 is not Froyo.

I attach the Froyo Gallery app to this reply, push it with adb commands.

For those who don't know how :

(download, extract and copy Gallery3D.apk to your sdk tools folder)

adb remount /system

adb pull /system/app/Gallery3D.apk Gallery3D.bak (backup current Gallery)

adb push Gallery3D.apk /system/app

adb reboot

It works for me now. (probably only in LCR 1.7.2 because it's implemented)

If you want to go back to previous version :

adb remount /system

adb push Gallery3D.bak /system/app/Gallery3D.apk

adb reboot

Doesnt work for me and now i cant go back to previous version..

any chance to make an update.zip with the Gallery3D fix??

If you have issues, remove Gallery3D with Titanium Backup or root explorer and flash the update.zip again.

Why the 1.7.2 ROM always asking me to unlock SIM card when I have a missed call,

I have 0.39 bin and update to 1.7.2

You have installed the rom

You have partitionned your sdcard

So you have lost all yours d content including sdcard's gscript.

OK provided scripts are joint. Put them in sdcard/gscript

noticed that with acer dialer i am unable to add contacts. it returns the error of the acore process closed.

Is anyone having trouble with tmobile MMS, I tried all the possible settings and no go.

I am using the 9.99 tmobile internet with internet2.voicstream.com settings, I had the same settigns work previously using xian's rom

Also launcher pro sends me to the web instead of messaging through the dock shortcut

Also in spare parts apps2sd is greyed out, not sure if it means that it's enabled or not.

I am new to this but I recent applied 1.7 and everything was fine. Yesterday I decided to apply 1.7.2 and now my Device goes nuts at random. The screen starts moving, stuff starts opening, screen becomes unresponsive to touch, it becomes completely unstable. I installed it on a Liquid E. Does anybody else of similar problems? Could I have done something wrong?
