Hi there,

I was given a Samsung Omnia II phone over CNY. However, the phone was purchased in China and the firmware on the phone is in Chinese..

Is there a way to change the firmware to Singapore version? I went to Samsung Service Centre in Singapore and was told that they cannot change the firmware..

Regards,

Nat

You can flashes to JB1 and if you need Chinese input, just installed for it. Read instruction on the first post and the pinned topic Guide to Flashing ROM on i8000 if you are new. Remember to select the csc which was operator free "I8000XEUJB1". I was using it and it worked great for me.
