Let us know if it's still working in a day or two - mine started working again after I was resent the provisioning messages, but soon stopped again. It also worked for about 15 minutes yesterday without anything being changed before or after, which definitely points at the problem being the route it's taking across the network.

Guest klutsh Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 It would seem that T-Mobile have decided to block access to Google's services unless you happen to pay for the WebNWalk Plus service.
Guest mehall Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 I hope not, as I'm on the Solo with unlimited internet, and I'm already annoyed enough by the fact that I am not allowed to get HSDPA connection with it, just because I'm not a full contract subscriber. If I don't get market because I'm not using WebNWalk due to not being PAYG then I'll be threatening to leave them because I'm therefore being treated as a 3rd class citizen

Guest klutsh Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 From here: http://www.google.co.uk/support/forum/p/an...382d2&hl=en And my 1:30 long phone call with the Customer Complaints department today. I am on PAYG with the top up £10 for free internet & text deal, my case has been sent to a higher level, I got to wait upto 5 days for a responce. I should get it in that budle as it never said I had to pay extra for Market, Google Talk or Push gMail, however now if you buy a Pulse you only get 6 Month's Free internet, the 6 month's being WNW+ bundle. Once I get a responce I will post it here.

I'm on PAYG and I started getting problems a week or two ago, yet the other day it started working briefly. This morning I was still getting the problem, but I've just checked now and it's fine! If the fault is with the bundle, then surely it would either work or not work, not keep going up and down? This is just getting more and more confusing!

Yes, it's strange that re-provisioning seems to make it work for a while too
Guest bindi Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 I called T-mobile uk today and customer services forwarded me to Tech support. The guy on Tech Support said that they are aware of this issue for last couple of weeks. He suggested that they are waiting for a fix for this which should be in place before end of the week. He never mentioned anything about paying extra or webnwalk plus like... Not sure if its worth believing or not...but lets wait for end of the week.
Guest mehall Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 WebNWalk Plus is also a bundle addon for Solo & Contract users, it also enables HSDPA. I can;t find anything about that on the T-Mobile UK site, care to link? I might give them extra money if I got HSDPA

I might give them extra money if I got HSDPA Thats the thing with T-Mobile, they don't put anything in writing, and depending on who you speak to depends on the resolution. Of the 5 specialists I spoke to not one mentioned a known problem, and all but one said the network is fine, and I would need to have WebNWalk+ for Market place downloads to happen, although the reason they gave was a load of rubbish. I'm giving them until Monday to sort this problem out, after that I will be seeking some form of compensation from them as they will have in effect miss sold a product.

Guest fivegoldstars Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 Just to say I am on just WebNWalk and my Market is now downloading!!!! Paul After a week or so of outage, I'm connecting to Gtalk and my downloads are running today. Hope this has now been fixed.
Guest mehall Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 I had queued basically about 8 apps I wanted to either install or update. Some of them had done so this morning, but others had gave the usual errors (Download unsuccesful for the most part) and upon trying again, it repeated the unsuccesful nature.
Guest mikeyxb Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 i also had this problem with downloading apps from market and it seemed to happen bit by bit frist it would take an hour then 5 then 24 then stopped completely, and i seemed to have figured out the problem, if your like me you get the unlimited wen 'n' walk but it isnt really unlimited downloads, t mobile give you about a gig or 2 and then stop you downloadin from 4pm till 12 midmight, but i noticed once i got my new month in market and gtalk suddenly start working again with no problems, so maybe its to do with that... if anyone else has noticed this but didnt think that was the problem then maybe this is the answer???
Guest jonathonf Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 (edited) Hmm... this just started happening to me today, both over 3G and over Wifi. It happened after I switched the SIM card from my normal 3 PAYG to my 3 broadband as I wanted to do a bit of browsing. I downloaded two app updates from the Market, and since then nothing else has downloaded successfully. I've just tried my normal catchall of wiping everything and app uid fix in recovery mode (i.e. wipe dalvik-cache, wipe battery settings, wipe rotation settings, fix ext3, fix app ui mismatches). Just waiting for the dalvik cache to be rebuilt. --edit That made no difference. Tried clearing the Market cache and that didn't change anything. Now tried deleting Google Apps data (makes you sign in again). --edit 2 Woo! Now I can't get synchronised again! Methinks it's completely borked, probably time for a factory reset. --edit 3 Factory reset fixed it. Edited March 6, 2010 by jonathonf
Guest Stitch15 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I'm having the same problem since yesterday or so....everytime I download something I get the message "downloading has failed" Doesn't make any difference using Wifi or 3G. Does anyone know if there's a solution for this, other then doing a factory rest? Already tried fixing the Exe and the ui missing link stuff in the recovery menu.... Thanks....

I seem to have lost the data network completely now, no G or 3G shown against the signal strengh and no net connection.
Guest bindi Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I seem to have lost the data network completely now, no G or 3G shown against the signal strengh and no net connection. There seems to be a problem with T-mobile data network today, I seem to have lost it few times...switching off and on worked though. Regarding problem downloading from market, it is more reliable on 2G than 3G.

Guest bindi Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Using 2g, 3G or wifi doesn't matter, it stille doesn't work. Anyone any ideas? I had this issue pretty much all the time until last week. I then locked my Phone on 2G. It seems to be working much better for downloading apps although at slower speed. I haven't used android market a lot lately but like I said before, it is working more often than it was last week.
