are there any windows mobile sms alternatives ?

HI i flashed the kc lite 6.5 rom ages ago as i prefer the barebones of winmo without samsung bloatware.

im a bit sick of looking at the boring sms app (winmo) does anyone know any other alternatives.

ive used vito sms chat but i dont like it as when i have the today plugin for phone ex the message icon still links me to the windows sms. unless someone can tell me a way to change the location of the phone exs message icon other wise vito is a no go.

You must have a registry editor!

go to:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSINBOX

in the string "1" write

"\Program File\VITO\SMS-Chat\SMSChat.exe"

ps. you have to write the "

Remember to put in the correct file path if you have it installed in my storage or storage card.

Have you tried that? I have no end of bugs with vito sms, constant resets, i might have to bin it. :(

i would like a nice sms alternative....ive tried a decent amount but nothing perfect yet....vito sms is nice but too many bugs...and i skinned my winmo sms but it runs kinda slow and sometime pauses to think for a few secs when i go from a message to the message list...hoping to find something that blows me away soon
