Guest p_stman Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 adb remount requires that the adb version of your system is "remount" compatible. Default system are not. But I have added another way to remount with such version, try adb shell remount i have tried that to.. it goes wild and tries to remount 1000 times.. the only way to make it stop is to close CMD and reopen it.. u can almost say that hangs in some kind of loop, it keeps repeating itself endlessly. but i just installed LCR 1,7 and it works fine now, i really like the layout of it, looks very clean..

Guest malez Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) Malez, you save our lives again. :D No need to go to adb shell any more. :) Thanks! :P Happy to see my back office menu helped. When I have wrote it, i was thinking I will be the only one to use it :P In fact you must have seen it produces more verbose output than standard one but i don't have port all features. So no you are out of darkness now B) Cool Edited July 10, 2010 by malez
Guest navygino Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Malez recovery 0.5.4 available Now compatible with latest updates from acer (fix backlight issue) Is it working with 1.100.15_AAP_FET??? and also APP ROM later on??
Guest loop0 Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 hi :D have you edited kernel or only ramdisk? Both, but it seems that modifications are relatively small. Like you i'm curious and i want to known where's the problem and the answer malez gave you is humm mysterious :) So i've made a diff of version 0.5.3 and 0.5.4 and the kernel was changed probably with the kernel in rom version 1.100.39. In the ramdisk only one file has changed : the binary 'init' we should shared our knowledge :P

I am not mysterious, the way it was asked did no suit me and I were really tired by work and tempereature, that all. This temperature really fed me up (and it seems liquid does not like it too).
