Any success with MS VoiceCommand + i920 + bluetooth?

I've tried everything I can think of, and I can't get MSVC to work reliably over bluetooth on my i920. It detects the request, opens the channel, but then the little microphone icon disappears immediately and VC doesn't seem to hear me.

I've tried hard reset and a vigin install of just VC -- same thing.

Nuance, the built-in voice dialer is okay, but there are some annoying things about it, some incompatabilities with other software (S2U2 being the big one), and some features of VC that it is missing that I like.

Anyway, anyone that's got this working, please share.
