Guest gilbilly Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 Follow the steps here exactly: you will need to purchase a 20$ credit from fast GSM. Download the drivers and make sure you use the FastGSM_OMAP.exe (uploaded for your convenience and also found here http://download.fastgsm.com/FastGSM_OMAP.exe ) and not the FastGSM_S3G.exe or the FastGEM_AGERE.exe. I couldn't find the OMAP one originally but then had it sent to me by their support. I now have mine working with a Telus SIMFastGSM_OMAP.exe
Guest ryhoo Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 Still have to pay 20$, so nothing new... Nice advertisement:)

Guest gilbilly Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 20 is a lot cheaper then the 70 bell wants... i will definitly look into this. was your i8000L bell brand 16GB ? it was and it wasn't as much of an advertisement as it was hat i'd spent months looking for a solution that was cheaper than $75 AND required you to be a current customer with Bell. This allows anyone whether they be bell or otherwise (myself) to unlock for much cheaper.
Guest Devhux Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 I can also confirm this works. I did the unlock and my Rogers SIM works fine with it. Thanks for the heads-up on this one, as I know quite a few Bell users were not happy paying $75.
Guest gdrijver Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 I also confirm that this works. My AT&T SIM works great...the device recognized the SIM upon restarting the phone and autoconfigured all the network settings including MMS. Much cheaper alternative than the $50 rebel SIM I had been using. G
