Taskbar in landscape mode disableable ...or not ?

hi guys,

i was wondering if the taskbar could be desabled or not when for example we go to landscape mode ?

if its not possible at all times , is it at least possible de set up certains apps so as wich we dont have the taskbar and thus more place to use the app whene the keyboard is out ? ie using email or sms with nothing at the top ...?
