To flash or not

Hi!

I´m from Argentina so sorry for my english....

A week ago I´ve received an I8000L from Movistar with these numbers:

PDA: I8000LNVEIK2

CSC: I8000LUFNIK2

TELEFONO: I8000LVEIJ1

It´s came with WM 6.5 but.... Some strange things... Google maps in a hidden instalation, no Smart Reader, etc....

I´m not sure but looking the version numbers looks like an old version. If it´s the case, as I´ve read there´s no official upgrade to argentinian phones isn´t it? So I must upgrade via the secany´s. In that situacion, what parts you recomend to upgrade and if I make that upgrade what happens with the guarranty?

Upgrade to the latest Secany's ROM, and also you might want to try other ROMs from other cookers too.

To be safe, only upgrade PDA and Eboot (1 time this one, just to gain the 5MB RAM of the JA5 version). Also, make a backup beforehand from these by following this great procedure. You could always go back then in case you need to take it to the warranty.
