memory leak ??

I have omnia 2 stock rom....updated it last weak using samsung new pc studio.....

after tweaks i had 81 mb free ram after soft reset....

instaled spb ms and iconosoft phoneex (and some other software but this is only software that initiates on startup....)

disabled today screen (or tried it :-), i think it is stil on ), disabled wm phone and using phonoex....

after instaling SPB MS (latest avalible), and after soft reset i have 74 mb of free ram left....but after some time it drops down to 51mb of free ram, and some time after that to 41 mb free ram left and so on.....lowest value of free ram i got running nothing is 20 mb....

using cleanram fundamental purge it gets mi back about 2-3 mbs of ram????

and after sk tools it gets me to about 40-50 mbs free ram...

in proceses i cant find what is eating my ram....i notice 2-5 mbs increase in ram usage but not 20-40 mbs.....

what is eating my ram....i suspect SPB MS, but after i restarted it , RAM didnt revert it self to original value...

only solution is to soft reset.....

and the magic circle starts again...in half an our i have 50mb free ram, and few hours after that 20.....do sk tools free ram....restar everithing...gets back to 50....after some thime using sk tolls gets back to only 40 then 30-36... and then soft reset....

any help?

Yes, spb does have some memory issues. Also, other programs may have issues as well. You can reasonably expect to settle in around 10 MB less than you have on fresh boot. I'm not knowledgeable enough to explain why, but I do know that's normal. Dropping 20-40 MB of unrecoverable RAM is not normal. The only way to find out which program is causing the problem is to constantly monitor your available memory until you see the change and can correlate it to a specific program.

a soft reset will usually put you back where you want to be.

Right, but the idea is to not have to reset the phone constantly...
