Guest Ender Psp Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 (edited) Can someone suggest a player that playes .mkv video's? Thanks! Coreplayer does. However, it's not very smooth for high resol videos and it skips. You might want to reduce the resolution. What I suggest you do is get XVID4PSP and just transfer both streams (audio+video) to another container that TouchPlayer supports (MP4 recommended). For example, many mkv use x264 for video which you can stream copy into MP4. Edited March 6, 2010 by Ender Psp

After converting the video seems to fast forward but the audio still in a normal rate. MP4 is QVGA format if I'm not mistaken? Well I'll go and try it. Give you feedback in few mins.

MP4 is another container, much like as AVI or MKV. It can hold various audio/video streams (resolution independent). And you can stream copy with no quality loss (for example in XVID4PSP you open the file, then select MP4 for "format", then for "video encoding" select "Copy". Also, you can either re-encode the audio to "AAC-HE CBR 64" or just "Copy" it. Your choice). Edited March 6, 2010 by Ender Psp
