Guest Ender Psp Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) I have a i8000l i just wonder how durable is it like if you drop it show strong is the screen? That's some weird question(!) and in the wrong section (not in rom discussion). Considering the body is plastic, if you drop it on any hard floor (concrete, marble) it's likely to have (at least) a crack. The screen is good enough (not sure what you mean by strong) but it's very similar to any other touch screen. And it's durable. 2 recommendations for readers: buy a case (that goes over the body of the phone, not a storage case) and a screen protector! Edited March 7, 2010 by Ender Psp
Guest jebise Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 whoops it was eant to be in the other section, posted it at 3AM was a bit brain dead. I know if you drop anything on a hard surface it will cause some damage. What i meant to say was if it where dropped once would the screen crack or the phone stop functioning. I have had past phones where they got dropped once and the screen cracked or they just stopped working altogether, my last sony i dropped over a million times and it still works. P.S i do have a screen protector and a hard body case for it.
Guest Sb. Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) I'd say that every touch phone today is extremely fragile as its mostly screen. I remember many years ago my friend had a Ericsson T10 I think it was and he had if fly out of his hands from the second floor, it hit the concrete and fell apart everyone freaked so he went down collected the parts and put it together and turnd it on! no cracks and no issues only a dented case. "They dont make'm like they used to!" The most important factor sometimes is where it hits! Edited March 8, 2010 by Sb.
