Hello, my omnia 2 is brick, it will not start or do anything. Anyway, I was about to flash it with 2.14 with the Rom Octans JB3 and after a few seconds I have since had the wrong charged Eboot and mobile screen has started to green: (. I've disconnected and no longer answered the phone. I flashed the phone several times and never had given me problems. Any solution?: (

Sorry for english I use google traductor <_<

Opps sorry for you,

have you tried to hard reset your device??, if not try it once hope it will reset to factory settings.

To Hard Reset:

1. Turn OFF the phone (I know you canot start it)

2. Press VolumeUp and Lock buttons (do not release);

3. Press Call/Green and then HangUp/Red (do not release all buttons);

4. Phone should Vibrate and turn on;

5. Count to 3 and release all buttons;

You will have a choice to FORMAT or CANCEL the operation. Click FOTMAT to FORMAT IT FULLY TO FACTORY SETTINGS.

You canot do master reset by entering number like this:

*2767*3855#

Good luck!

Use a rom that previously worked for you and configure it in Octans. Click on Detect and then connect your cable to the phone and then click on Start Downloading it should start working.

If this does not work take out the battery and put it in again and try the step above. All the best.

FYI.

Same happened to my phone. Almost exactly the same down to the lines on the screen. Turns out it is completely bricked. The usb cable isn't going to do anything because it can't load the bootloader. And hard reset did nothing.

Found out when the files were uncompressed all of them were 0kB but had the correct file names. So my phone was essentially flashed blank.

So my phone is in for repair. Hope they can update it via jtag. One shop had no idea and kept the phone for a week to say they couldn't do it even after I explained all the symptons. They claim they couldn't get the software for the phone even though I supplied the files to flash. Guess they didn't have jtag hardware.

Samsung Australia said they can't do it becuase my phone was bought overseas. I'm sure this is because thye don't like poeple importing phones and bypassing them even if you bought it yourself from overseas and are willing to pay for the repair. NOt sure if Samsung worldwide don't fix imported phones.

nah i don't trust these xp drivers i'm using on my win 7 PC. Every time i reboot i have to reinstall the drivers or OCTANS throws a bunch of errors, sadly i have no more xp machines <_<

The same thing happen to me while trying to flash eboot + PDA. Samsung Service Center had to replace the mainboard. My problem was related to XP driver on my laptop. I then flash my phone using my XP desktop and it worked. To be safe I flashed PDA first to make sure it was OK then flash eboot + PDA and now I have my extra 5mb.

That sucks - others may pay attention to the error that was made - make sure you have good source files (verify size etc.)

As for os, i have used win 7 x86 and 64 - just follow the directions posted in the forum - and you should be ok.

Happy flashing!
