Known issues:

This mix of wm6.1 MS kernel and WM6.5 Native Kernel may cause some synchronization issues after switching i8000 from USB Mass Storage to ActiveSync, System may need restart

FAQ

Q: Some programs are not working

A: If your program needs .net library, Install NetCF. I removed NetCF because you can install newer versions to storage card or my storage without losing main storage. NET required apps: Fingerkeyb, NoData, G-alarm, O2flash, O2compass etc

Q: Will you add XDA_UC into rom?

A: No, you can install it after flashing. Here it is http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...b-for-everyone/ Or use Sashimi which is better

Q: I can't watch youtube videos using web browser

A: Install FlashLite 3.1

Q: I can't see my operator settings in start>settings>connections>connections

A: Once choose different operator then choose your operator again.

Q: Can flash your rom with my own csc ?

A: I don't recommend it but you can. I have removed a lot of things that your csc may need. CSC files are not just language (mui) files.

Q: I can't find many settings. Performance settings, Brightness, operator settings etc

A: I removed samsung settings panel. I made 2 cabs for settings. One is new style setting comes with wm6.5. Other is the old style settings. Just take a look at my cabs

Q: Will you add HTC Sense 2.5 into your rom?

A: This is an UltraLite rom, the answer is NO

Q: I can't connect Internet via ActiveSync

A: enable [samsung Settings/Network Settings/ Browser Connections/Automatically detect settings]

* I suggest this black theme, it's better than JD1's black theme

* Here is an Icon modification for the advanced folder, I like this. Thanks to sh.a.rk

HI. my mods for advanced folder files. Extract files from zip archive and file icons.dll paste in windows folder and advanced folder paste in windows/Start menu/Programs and overwrite old. Need soft reset.

Hello fellas,

Finally I started to make my own light rom. As some of you already know my i900 rom, I am a big fan of wm6.1 <_< Therefore I chose wm6.1 which is faster and uses less ram. This is the first version and in time, I'll make it lighter when I make cab files of programs that I removed.

I'll make this rom UltraLite in time.But not now, I'm a busy man

sinancetinkaya i just wanna say thank you for your hard work on providing a custom rom for the community,

i tried it ..it works.. its clean, but im not sure if the lower pagepool for ram, makes processing task, etc slower,

i have gone back to KC's lite 6.1 rom as it feels more snappier, eg using point UI with point sense its smoother sliding screens, and s2u2 is not laggy when enabling and unlocking...

this is just feedback and hopefully you can get some knowledge on KC's 6.1 roms and intergrate it your custom rom,

Yes, You are right. Reducing pagepool for free ram costs a bit system performance. 4 mb pagepool is enough for who uses stock wm6.1 interface like me. But it's not enough for manila2d or pointUI.

I have been making this rom for my own use and I use it. I consider my needs. I wanted to share it because some users may need a similar rom.

Next time I'll make two rom, 4mb and 8mb pagepools (Damn I8000's rom is huge, It takes longer uploading time. I miss my 30mb i900 rom)

Great Rom, fast as a bullet, but I found an error... When you activate TOUCHWIZ the start menu doesnt work, it says "Error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename"

Another thing: Could you please allow front camera to take pictures?
