Guest teamkillexpert Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) The new WM 6.5.3 has a taller task bar, which is what I think the cause for an offset of wallpapers, which causes a discontinuity at the top and the bottom of the CHome screen, which is quite annoying. but the start menu and lock screen are both free from this problem. I was wondering if anyone has figured out a solution to this problem. for it may not be too problematic with abstract patterns, but very annoying with a non-repetitive wallpaper. I think it can be fixed by exactly moving the wallpaper to a specific vertical offset when setting it, but that is almost impossible with a touchscreen and no measurements. here you can see the discontinuity at the top and bottom for CHome, but problem free in lock screen. Guest teamkillexpert Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) also there is a problem of not showing the lock or back icons on the softkey bar in start menu with the black theme. you can still press those buttons but they are invisible. I tried but couldn't figure it out. I have to say the theme system for windows mobile is a huge mess. my attempts only made my black theme no longer black, and I still couldn't make other themes black. If you don't include images for the lock and back buttons, they won't show up. Other themes work just fine.
