have anyone tried this app yet?, Its a cool freeware from leaf.co.za to check your GPS status,

It looks great but I think it is not compatible with 6.5.5, it starts but it doesn't display properly. Only three buttons on the bottom of the screen.

It's true, after soft reset it works perfectly in 6.5.5.

Works great on I8000, WM 6.1. Its very lite and with Xtra get fix within 5 sec.

Very nice app, and works flawlessly on the 920.

However, it doesn't turn on the GPS hardware by itself (on the 920, at least), so you got to activate it with another program like Google Maps, or something like the Today plug-in GPSToggle.

Other than that, it's pretty cool. A nice enhancement would be to press on any of the indicator dials, and have it zoom to fill the screen. Awfully hard to see (well, impossible IMO) while in a car mount while driving.
