Guest shaunandkarispam Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 This has been a big stressor for me the past couple of months. I have a legitimate need for recording certain calls daily... and yes it's legal in my state. This wasn't a problem with my old Treo 700wx. However, I have not found a program that will record a full conversation. I have tried ACR, Resco & Vito. ACR had too many issues to even get into here (on i920). Resco Audio Recorder and Vito audio notes touch seemed like they should work as they would record the first few seconds of a phone call and then stop. My trial period expired... so I ended up buying Resco Recorder thinking I would get support with the product and get it figured out (wrong assumption as I haven't heard back from them). In the following post the problem is supposedly due to the proximity sensor putting the phone into sleep mode, which shuts off the recorder. The suggested work around is to disable the sensor, which means my face will be touching the screen and opening/executing who knows what. http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-verizo...-recording-fix/ This has been a complete headache. From what I've read (and seen in screenshots), it seems like the i8000 still has the standard WM recording available within the notes tool during a phone call. Is there a way to enable this feature on the i920 or are there missing files someone can supply to make this feature available on the i920? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
