(Thk God, I flashed 200+ roms since now and almost ALL the phone parts... and never had an error.) Re-try.

It was flashed using a samsung nc10 netbook with activesync and samsung modem driver installed  ??

Guest dragonmatahari Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 Make sure all the driver is being installed properly.. (manually check at device manager under hardware tab on system properties) Its better to reinstall all the drivers if 'port' problem accured 1. Samsung usb driver 2. Samsung CDMA driver set... normaly found/accompanied with Samsung PC Studio setup. exit antivirus..(sometime antivirus software block the application) ..have a smooth flashing

Guest Dark Dick Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 if i flash a phone, do i lose my settings? i mean is it like flashing a rom?
Guest blade87 Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 if i flash a phone, do i lose my settings? i mean is it like flashing a rom? You won't lose any settings. It doesn't change anything in the System Settings.
Guest mowinnie Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 Thanks for your reply ime. I managed to flash DX1D1 over XB1C1. PUJA still evades me. Something to do with the active sync connection. Phone disconnects erratically after START is pressed. I get the same error others have reported above. thanks anyways.
Guest blade87 Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 Only with PUJA1 or does it happen to all files?
Guest mowinnie Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 Only with PUJA1 or does it happen to all files? It could be a random coincidental thing.I have to try again. lets see.....
Guest Dark Dick Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 OK, flashed PUJA1 (January 2010) worked perfectly on my Laptop with WinXP SP3. I always use that one for flashing stuff. Let's see if I notice any change...
Guest DarkIceBG Posted October 26, 2010 Report Posted October 26, 2010 Could someone help me with the case how to use the "bin" types of FW. Probably there is some kind of exe flasher to be combined with the bin? I can see that in the topics above are offered some EXE FWs, but I'm curious to know how to use also the raw FW files.

The bin files are flashed using GrandPrix, but I've heard that it is riskier than using exe files so I have never tried it.
