Can't send or receive MMS pictures. Suggestions?

My SMS texting works fine, but if I try to send or receive an attached picture it says "Connecting.... Connection failed" then I get a pop-up that informs me:

Cannot Connect

Dialed:

No modem detected. Make sure your modem is

properly connected and try again. To check

your connection settings and change them if

needed, tap Settings.

Settings Dismiss

Under Settings, everything appears to be okay. My normal broadband, email and SMS works just fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

are you using a custom ROM? If yes that might be the cause. Use Arcsoft MMS (google for it) and you should be fine...

Yes... I'm running one of yardy4life's ROMs. I'll try your suggestion. BTW - Why would a custom ROM disable MMS?
