WinMo 6.5.3 for Omnia II

Hi guys,

Does somebody knows how I can upgrade my omnia II with WinMo 6.5 to 6.5.3

I have some problem with the GPS, it takes eternity to fix GPS position.

In addition from time to time my WiFi icon disappear.

I believe that with WinMo 6.5.3 it will be fix.

Can you give some more detail?

for the moment, samsung didn't release 6.5.x roms

so only way is to flash a custom rom, in which the cooker has changed winmo version (you will find plenty in this forum)

for the fix for gps and wifi my suggestion is:

PDA ROM: JA5

PHONE ROM: JB1

and wm6.1 gpsidril.dll : http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-verizo...0-wm6-5-gpsfix/

try to use xtra data at least once
