Guest yoyoyoyoyoyoyo Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 1st at all, sry for my bad eng. few days ago, i encountered a weird issue with my omnia 2, while plying music. the music stops playing after a device asleep (screen off) a few minutes. i ve tried with touch player, windows media, core player, but all get the same result. can anyone help? i ve soft reset my device for many times but no use. pls help..
Guest darkworldzz Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 try reflash it with another rom/eboot... it happens all the time.. or u can keep tryin to soft reset <_< another workaround is u can try using nitrogen player(google it) it has this off function which turns off the screen but music still plays.. or u can try getting a earpiece which has music player controls eg. sony HBH-DS970 these are the solutions i can give.. lets hope some other ppl can give a more technical solution..
Guest idiotjohn Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 Yes, i agree with Darkworldzz that Nitrogen player is a good alternative. If you are using S2U2, you could try adding the applications to the exceptional exe's list, although Windows Media Player should already be there, so i'm not sure. You can also try using A_C's S2U2, that just about always works for me John
Guest yoyoyoyoyoyoyo Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 thx 4 help, but i ve tried the core player's "screen off".. it can still play the music but after a few minutes.. it still.. stop. n i duwan to hard reset m divice =( any help pls?

Guest Snow02 Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 omg.. even g alarm stops rinnging after a few minutes.. help!! I have noticed a hiccup when the device sleeps before music starts playing again in the three apps I use for music (kinoma, touchplayer, fm radio), but this is a 1 second hiccup, if anything, rather than a few minutes pause. Just relaying my experience. Does this happen when the device times out on its own as well as when you press the screen off button? No idea on a fix other than to keep trying apps to see if any don't have this problem. I know both mort player and the free version of kinoma have options to keep playing with the screen offf. So you may try those as well.

Guest DunKnow Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 I have this problem for the older roms, such as J9, but after updating to newer versions such as L5 and above, my music would not stop playing even though i have locked my phone using the windows default lockscreen.
Guest kdkinc Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 my i910 Omnia that I had, has a power saver feature in the power settings. I believe that I saw the same feature in my i920 Omnia . Do you have that feature checked off ??? Maybe that's the issue. <_< :(
