Guest jebise Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 (edited) This is to all bell customers that have the I8000L. Where you able to download the JC1 update from KIES? i have tried and have no luck but i think the issue might be that my pda dose not match. I just flashed JB3 2 days ago and got my phone prefect and don't want to flash back to the default bell stock rom to see, if anyone has time can they give this a shot? I tried to use FUS to get the ROM could could not figure out the default PDA name, since i have JB3 Bell defaults; CSC: I8000LBMCIJ6 PHONE: I8000LUGIJ6 PDA: if some knows what it is Suffix: BMC Nation: XX Try downloading it with FUS and see if our firmware is there. PS: if you go to samsung.ca and look for the omnia 2 KIES is now the default application you can download in stead of crappy NPS. I have it running on my win 7 without issue. I have tried but similarly have not seen anything. I am running a non-stock rom however, with a normal CSC and phone though. On another but related note, have you changed your CSC and phone versions with any success? if so, are there any special changes/settings you atered? also, did you notice any difference?

I might flash back to bell to see if KIES finds a new update. KIES was added to samsung website on friday so maybe they are still working on the ROM and is not released yet. I had the same memory issue as you did. Turns out various improvements (such as pagepool size and what not) are not applied until you hard reset after you flash. Give that a go, you should be able to see more mem.

No i talking about the extra 5MB you get from flashing the eboot. It was weird that i had the same usable memory as people that flashed there eboot and i have not. Like we always had the extra 5MB maybe its a i8000L thinkg i dunno. Anywho turns out that you have to be on the stock bell parts to get the update from KIES. If you have a chance can you flash back to I800lUGIJ6 PDA (stock bell) and see if KIES has a update for us, since your CSC and PHONE are stock. I would but don't really have time with work and all and i just flashed JB3 2 days ago and don't feel like redoing everything. Edited March 16, 2010 by jebise
