Change I8000 DEVICE PRODUCT CODE

I flash: CSC: I8000ITVIL5, PDA: I8000NXXIL5, PHONE: I8000XXIL2 whit OCTAN, my original csc was TPH. All correctly works; but now trying to update with kies fails because it finds on device and send to server: CSC: I8000ITVIL5, PDA: I8000NXXIL5, PHONE: I8000XXIL2, NATION CODE: XX, MODEL: GT-I8000 but the original DEVICE_PRODUCT_CODE TPH instead ITV.

Is possible change I8000 device product code from TPH(PORTUGAL) to ITV(ITALY), for example flegging in octans "erase csc"?

mine too... it's coded in the registry, but unable to change it permanently since it'll revert back to original one after softreset... maybe it's hardcoded?
