Guest eViL D:
easiest way is to use activesync on your PC to sync them to your gmail account.

Then they will automatically sync to your android handset

guide here: http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/a...p;answer=138636

or, if you don't use activesync, you can export them to a .csv file, to your sd card, and then import them into gmail. There is an app called pim backup that will do the job.

An approach that I have used before is to purchase on eBay a SIM card reader -

they are available for very reasonable amounts (less than $5USD).

They also come with software on a cd which allows the sim card contacts to

be save to a csv file on your PC. From there it is quite simple to transfer them to google contacts.

OK guys will try the google contacts route, for now found an old sim card - put that in and it seemed to read most of them across but now I have some duplicates and all phone number are shown as mobile numbers

Can I export the list from my phone to a CSV file? and then modify the list in EXcel on my PC??
