Known issue:

* Screen Rotate can't work in CHome Today.

Changes:

! 8MB PagePool size (patch available for 12MB/16MB/20MB).

- Remove most mp3 ring (only keep 'Cloudy Tone .mp3', because tclock use this one)

! Change default Today to CHome

- Remove most theme (only keep Classic Blue) (provide cab files)

- Remove some non-used icons

- Remove .rgu files

- Remove sample music

- Remove sample picture

! Enable front camera function

! Disable install security warnning

! Disable error report function

! Enable screen rotate function

! Enable unicode SMS

! Store emaill attachments to \My Storage\Messaging\Attachments\

! Set PhoneNetSelMode timeout to 0 by default

PS. This version do not include AutoClosePatch, you need to install it by yourself.

Note:

1. Please use OCTANS Downloader 2.14 or later version

2. If your eboot is not the version after JA2, please flash eboot again

3. No Chinese font in the ROM, so you need the CSC with Chinese font.

4. Photo Album (Photo), File Manager (My Files), SharePix (Communities) will be used by Camera, so install them if you need Camera.

5. You need to reboot the device after install FM Radio.

6. Execute 'Restore Connections' in 'Samsung Settings' if you can't use data link for 3.5G or via ActiveSync

7. Support English only, if you switch to Chinese interface, it won't be a lite/ultralite ROM (where the files coming from?)

wow, thanks buddy! very thoughtful on pagepool patchs and all CABs. have 2 questions, what are those deleted files? can i use other english CSC to flash with this ROM, such as JB3,JB1 or which one of your CSC can i use to get chinese font only? kinda dizzy here, :) thank you!

deleted files: the files I removed from ROM, if you need some files not in the current ROM or not in the cab, you can get the file from here.

yes, you can install any CSC or even no CSC (it only use 8MB+ because I erase CSC when I test it).

that CSC will also replace the phone skin (注音介面) also.

you can try to install the mingliu.ac3 cab (font and registry), it's default Chinese font in the ROM.

ok, thanks buddy. another question, how do i patch pagepool? i was trying to patch 8-20mb pagepool,put bspatch,extracted nb0. and 8-20 patch files in one folder then execute bspatch, but nothing happened, was i doing something wrong? thanks again!

im sorry but im not getting it, basically im a noob, dont understand those codes at all ;)

can u teach how to do it? i put all 3 files (nb0. ,bspatch and 8-20mb patch) in same folder, then i just double click on bspatch but nothing happened. what should do to change the pagepool? thank u :)

im sorry but im not getting it, basically im a noob, dont understand those codes at all ;)

can u teach how to do it? i put all 3 files (nb0. ,bspatch and 8-20mb patch) in same folder, then i just double click on bspatch but nothing happened. what should do to change the pagepool? thank u :)

hm... download this attachment, and extract it to the same folder, click patch12.bat to get pp12.nb0, click patch16.bat to get pp16.nb0 ....

What a great rom and app packages you have here! Thanks a MILLION bro!

You have even the original 20MB pagepool patch too... I love this patch as I believed it will make Omnia2 system more stable.

Maybe I'll also try 16MB, to see if it was as stable as the 20MB version.

The second PDA rom file in Megaupload has wrong file name. I8000HZHJC1 instead of JC2.

and i believe the patch works on other ROMs too, if im not mistaken :)

edit: just flashed and looks promising, have tested yet. its got samsung Splugin instead WM default one. lock screen modified to HTC clock. samsung MMS, touch player and audio recorder are still in the ROM. looks like i need couple of hours to down load those cabs, lol.

no, I think it only work for I8000HZHJC2_EN_LITE_20100323.nb0

hm... try other sites...

this is the old files with wrong filename, ...so I deleted it then re-upload the new file...

I think this is the issue for multiupload, I just upload the files to multiupload

no, I create the different page pool size rom based on the 8mb rom. and use bsdiff to create such patch, so I think it only work for the 8mb rom file.
