Guest markyang
So I tried to root and flash my new nexus one with the CyanogenMod. I followed all the steps and managed to flash update-cm-5.0.5.1-N1-signed.zip as well as gapps-passion-EPE54B-signed.zip but when I reboot my phone, I am not stuck at the startup screen with the padlock at the bottom. I can get into recovery mode again but I don't know what to do. Please help!!! [email protected]

There is a bug with the 5.0.5.1 ROM that happened with both myself and a friend where it does what you are saying. You need to wipe data/dalvik cache and download 5.0.4.1 and install that, reboot and make sure it works by rebooting and just ensuring you get to the home screen and then go back in and *without* wiping, flash 5.0.5.1.
