By the way, I didn't even download LCR to begin with. Those scripts were given to me by vache in his tools.zip. Lain, and Piter both use the same scripts in their ROMs, so why don't you go yell at them too?

Android is opensource, and Malez has no copyright on the system. I'll take the scripts out, but just to let him know, I have every right to use what is not his to begin with (most of it was CODED by ACER, and GOOGLE, not MALEZ). Google search GPL and Apache license.

My ROM is a compilation of OPENSOURCE works. Which I have the right to use and distribute as long as I don't sell it.

There is no REAL coding done here, just some scripting and file editing. He can claim rights for malez recovery, and the scripts, but nothing else. And I don't include it in my ROM.

I don't mind what you say, I know all about dev rights. No offense taken. I'm glad you like the ROM. ;)

I work on the ROM when I can, and I was planning on sending e-mails to everybody in the dev community here, to thank them all. I'm not a taker. And I'm not saying it's good to use someone's work without thanking them. I just don't have time to write e-mails, etc. I really only work 5 minutes here, 5 there, on the ROM. I have a jam packed life that I have to tend to.

No v0.7 for a while. When the official ROM comes out, I'll root it, and make sure the Desire mods, etc., work on it. ;)

I'm grateful for all of the work done here, in the community, by everyone. I really am.

i'm gonna give your rom a go even if the navigation problem isn't fixed with the 0.008 bins. Hopefully its as snappy as you say it is. I was using my phone today on the train and the thing is basically too laggy to use comfortably with pandora music playing. I dunno, maybe its just the liquid can't handle the OS and multitasking. I did have 7 screens with about 7 widgets on there but still. Getting the winmo de ja vu .

it doesn't start up with 80mb free. Same amount of ram free as all the other roms.. about 30-40mb

I'm gonna reinstall it just in case i did something wrong.

It does heat up alot more than 1.6 (with LCR 1.5.1 and 920MHz kernel)

eats battery faster too

but i do get a better signal, 3d games work, and the audio does seem improved

It does slow down now and then

playing music and playing games causes some stress, and the music skips abit and the game lags abit, but those skips and lags come and go

Still... seems like the best 2.1 rom so far

A Big Thanx @ Xian for a great Rom..!!! The rom is superb and quite fast. I wanted to know that in the LED notification options..in messaging..there is this option to change LED color..!! What is that all about..!?

Also..I am not able to listen to songs with my handsfree jack plugged in..!! If i plug the jack..and turn on the song..!! Its all quiet..!! suddenly if i get a mesage at the same time..!! The song plays for like a second and then goes off..!!

Can't figure out what to do...

I have known a few devs and they do get totally into what they are doing...and often miss too much sleep working or just thinking it. Then they can get upset by things that normally wouldn't bother them.

If they keep going like that they get unhappy, have a big blow-up and stomp off in a big huff.

It's a sign they need to learn to pace themselves, get their rest, eat right......keep it all in perspective and relax.

All part of growing up.

yeah i was using the LCR 1.3 with the .008 bin as the base. Its the same with all the .008 bin roms (LCR, EVIL, XIAN, LIBERATED, etc). Its just a bad bin I think. The cooks have done a great job with the bin, but the bin is just bad.

could someone maybe post how your lag is with a bunch of widgets running like I posted above. Thanks.

well, since i messed up with the 1.6 by deleting all my contacts and then messing it up further hoping to get them back by doing a backup system data restore, I had to just reinstall. Deciding to give your rom another go b/c I can't stand how loud i have to speak for voice input on htc ime keyboard to correctly transcribe my voice.

Thanks to all you guys working hard on these roms.

Thnx a lot, Xian for your 0.6b ROM. It's great, fast, unlaggy. I like it most of all the ROMs that are here and there in web for our Liquid. Special thx for audio hack, finaly there's no need to install any other players. ;)

P.S. tried HelixLauncher 0.7. ;) It's not for my every day use. Vers. 0.6 is much more usefull and nicelooking ('case of having same look like Launcher2). Deleted it through RootManager at all. ;)

I have a lot of problems with this rom 0.6b.

0.5b was perfect but this is very laggy and i cant sync my contacts with google.

do i have to flash the newer bin from evil?

my baseband is A1-03.10.03

also the phone didnt go to sleep with the sleep button but after a restart this was fixed.

I can't read my sms messages, when i enter in the sms i see only a black screen.

Any solution?

@verser233 try to push another mms.apk into /system/app that shoud fix it afaik <-- sorry this is for non english mms

*sigh* Read this thread... It's a setting in the SMS app. I do agree the default is stupid, but you can just disable 'black background'.

Is there anything you can do about this default Christian?
