Guys, I still have no idea why the MMS apk FC's while using a non English language... ugh. The MMS apk I'm using is from the latest LiquidE leak... The one in v0.5c is Acer's also, so it's their problem. The MMS apk uploaded in this thread, is AOSP (from Nexus One), which seems to work well in Italian, etc. If you speak English, I advise you to keep the MMS.apk included, as it is the newest, and the fastest. Sorry for the trouble guys... @Leon.786 The LED option should be ignored... you can put whatever you like, it won't change anything... They are options for the Nexus One... which makes me wonder, if I accidentally put in an AOSP MMS.apk... which, makes me wonder... why it still FCs for non English speakers! The music app works for my while using handsfree... and the music pauses when you receive a message... but for me, it automatically un pauses... does it not work at all? What kind of handsfree kit do you have? I need more info. @liquidini Did you set up AutoKiller? It's necessary in all of these LiquidE ROMs... with it, my ROM flies... Sync has been tested, and works, in all languages... over WiFi, over 3G. Try removing your account, and re linking it to your phone. @Everyone With my configs, and with no 3rd party apps installed, my ROM DOES has 80 megs of RAM on start up. Having push notifications on keeps Gmail, etc., open... some it uses more RAM. The HTC_IME uses less RAM than the default keyboard (it flies... and this one has some multi-touch support, which, when coupled with auto-correction, is awesome... personally, it's my favorite). @MalicousKen Apps2sd should be working fine, can anybody confirm? Xian all i did was install rom and sync with google and the ram was at 50 and quickly droped to 35-40. So, that's why I say not 80mb ram. I didn't install anything all I did was sync and see what autokiller showed for ram. Got a reboot all of a sudden while listening to spinlet app. Spinlett app doesn't really play b/c after 10 seconds I get a "stop playing due to low memory" error. I know spinlets isnt' installed in the rom, i put it there myself, but thought I'd mention it. Anyway, it rebooted itself. Otherwise, the rom seems faster than I expected. Just wish there was a bin out there that gave you more ram to work with. Edit: I was typing that as i was doing a reboot b/c of spinlet app. Now I'm stuck at the unlock screen and the phone is completely unresponsive. Guest pipajoja Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 very nice rom! snappy and stable, especially the messages, i text a lot can't stand waiting for a minute to load my messages... but just one problem for me, doesn't come with xt9ime, lol i need it for chinese input, otherwise really perfect! i have the xt9ime.apk how do i get it installed? (tried app manager, root manager, doesn't work..)

Sorry guys, I've been out all day, I'm going to start working on a bugfix ROM v0.6c. Release in a day or two (I hope). @pipajoja I removed XT9, as for most people it is useless (we have HTC_IME), and it hogs RAM, even when not used... I'll upload the necessary files, and I'll tell you where to push them. Xian

Ive been trying to modify most of the ROMs available and yours is one of the best so far but i just cant get the launcher2 with buttons to work. When you add the launcher2 WITH the Desire theme it gets stuck in an endless loop of the boot animation. I can only get one OR the other working, but I'm a complete noob so its understandable. How do you change the default Launcher? Ive set it as Helix Launcher, now I want to go back to Launcher2 I've looked in Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications but Helix Launcher doesnt show up search for "Home Switcher" on market, i does exactly what you want ;)
Guest Redline66 Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 I test your ROM since 2 days already, no issue so far ;) I find it much more stable than LCR 1.3 (hangs up or reboots with no apparent reason, battery draining very fast,...) BUT... still one big concern : APPS2SD not working, contrarily to LCR where it works perfectly. No clue on how to make it work? In fact, all apps are correctly moved to SD, but when I restart the phone, I'm stucked in an endless boot animation... Thanks for your help and great work ;)
