You can try resetting LauncherPro's settings by doing this.

adb remount

adb shell

rm -r /data/data/com.fede.launcher

exit

adb reboot

That should fix any settings problems.

The problem has to do with you not using English, whereas LauncherPro was configured for English. Doing the fix above should work, and I put the fix in the ROM that's in the first post.

I just tested the fix, it works. run that command then do adb reboot.

Please can you tell me if with your rom fast dormancy is enabled?

You can see the status in the android hidden menu (*#*#4636#*#*) in the advanced settings section.

I see it disabled with every kernel built from sources, but with 1.100.39 kernel, it's enabled on my device.

Fast dormancy is indeed disabled, I'll look in the kernel sources to try and re-enable it.

thanks xian, I was looking for it too in the sources but haven't found it yet.

I also have built an underclocked kernel ([email protected] stable) but without fast dormancy, battery is doing worst than stock kernel.

Sorry to ask, but what exactly IS fast dormancy? My best friend google wasn't particularly helpful...

Anyway, my first impressions:

Bootscreen = awesome

Bootsound = annoying, and quite loud as well, but I suppose that's just me. Besides, I won't reboot so much anyway,

This one isn't related to your rom, but why does the setup wizard ask me if I would like to change my language to dutch, even though I just said I wanted it to be English ;(...

The youtube app, I suppose the download feature is great, but the widget is smaller than both the music and power widget, I like to have those three in line. Not a big deal though, just pushed the old Youtube app :angry:.

The speed is great, very responsive!

I don't know if the battery life is as good as 0.7f, I'll post about that tomorrow :D

EDIT:The notification ringtone "tada" is in the ringtone list twice.

on a side note, do ringtones and wallpapers take up space you could otherwise use for applications?

Ok... just flashed it... Very smooth... but one bug... launcherpro is not saving my settings... i make some change in some settings, it says that it needs to restart, but no change in setting takes place...

^ i was also having this problem as rajit, i tried to reinstall the rom again with your updated one and now i cant flash at all :angry:

it keeps saying

E:Cant chown/mod/data/app

no such file or directory

E: failure at line 235

please help...

Try wipe then reflash, but don't wipe AFTER installing. Wipe BEFORE.

[FIXED]- just uninstalled and reinstalled launcherpro... and it works like it should.. problem solved...

Now, my thoughts on this rom: after using it for about an hour:

SMOOTH

very nice boot splash (its really very pretty)

fast even at the default kernel (although i have flashed 920 now)

snappy (fast as it should be)

now i only have one wish: if only it could have the themes (power control bar, top panel) like lcr 1.7, this rom would be DELICIOUS!!!! Any suggestions???

It's related to 3g network connections.

For what I've read, fast dormancy allows the phone to release wcdma connections with the cell earlier, so it allows to save battery.

It can cause troubles also, so it can be disabled in the hidden menu.

But with custom kernels (for now) it can't be enabled, reducing a lot the battery life in phones that are using 3g flat data connections (like mine).

went to the market, selected launcerpro from the dowloads section, selected uninstall, and then when it had uninstalled, i installed it again like a normal app... hope that helps

Oh ok, wasnt sure if it was available in market or not.

@xian, i tried to wipe and its still giving me the error. Im not sure why.

Btw im not sure if this is important or not, but my stock rogers rom is 1.100.03, i havent touched it yet im not sure if maybe thats the problem.
