PC-based registry editor

This freeware program is very useful for making registry setting changes and for backing up and restoring registry entries. It runs on your Windows PC and connects to phone via ActiveSync. I find it much easier to use a full size keyboard and editor on the PC to make changes to my registry. Also the exports are created as files on your PC rather than on the phone. The author doesnt have anything saying it cant be distributed so I guess it is ok to post here.

I am already using it a few weeks ago. I am able to connect to my device to view and edit the registry but I couldn't export the registry to my desktop at all. Does anyone of you here is able to?

Yes registry exports work ok for me. I didn't do anything special. Just installed it and the chose a key I wanted to export and it creates the export file on my PC.

Can I double check the steps with you. 1st select the registry key or registry folder that I want to export. Then Edit -> Export and u give a filename etc to save correct?
