[ROM||LiquidE] Liberated v1.4.2 by Piter1225

Is it just me or can't you save or display "pause" in the dialer or in contacts?

I have was hoping to be able to save meeting numbers on specific contacts as I'm a teleconference geek.

i have been flash the Liberated v1.4.2

but Liberated removed a official app which is fan-shaped media

the name of wedgets is media player

i want to install it

what is the app name?please help me :P :D

That widget is part of Acers Launcher2.apk

If u want it back best way is to push it via ADB

Btw I thought that noone uses Acer widgets :P

Nothing special is needed to do. If u use ext2 partition for app2sd, move apps back to device using malez recovery.

Copy files from old SD to your PC, than copy them back on new SD.

If u wanna store apps on SD create ext2 on new SD and than move apps.

Thanks for the reply, when I try to install I got an error message, could you help?:

# adb install Launcher2.apk

pkg: /data/local/tmp/Launcher2.apk

Failure [iNSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_UNEXPECTED_EXCEPTION]

Tried with other apk and it worked, but not with this one. Thanks in advance.

You have to do:

adb remount

adb push Launcher2.apk /system/app

UPDATE: now other widgets stopped working and still cannot find the fan like media player widget, not even after reboot. Maybe there are different Launcher2.apk versions?

I'm using this rom within these days, it's almost perfect !

But... only one issue, I've installed the bais theme (http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liquid-liquid-modaco-com/307670/theme-nextheme-desire-lil-mix/), and, after that...

The led message issue (always on) it's up :P

How can i re-fix it manually ?

Its fail of Acer devs, be sure that you dont have any app shortcut in notification bar (left side of bar must stay clean)

I've just installed this rom yesterday...

I had trouble from the beginning, Its booting all the time.

Every now and then, it freezes and I have to reboot, when it finally boots, it reboots again, lets say for 10times...

Any ideas?

Go into recovery, select wipe all, than flash Liberated again.

This ROM does auto wipe when installed, so no worries.

Boots fine restoring my app...
