script in 4.1 doesn't work. I can get it to start but once killed upon screen exit and when you go back to main page it gives a miscellaneous script error. even tried mods above.

you will check file exist in image folder.

Solution for fix it.

sample case:

Select to other theme.

Solution 1:

Delete _Images folder and re copy from V4.1.

Solution 2:

if you found "People.png" but not found one file of list "People2_0.png", "People2_1.png" and "People2_2.png".

you will rename "People.png" to not found file.

you found "People2_0.png", "People2_1.png" and "People.png".

you will rename "People.png" to "People2_2.png".

if you found 4 files "People.png","People2_0.png", "People2_1.png" and "People2_2.png"

please delete file "People.png".

*It's same case of "Pictures" and "Music+Video".

*You will select difference images for 2_0,2_1,2_2

Yes everything is the way it should be. Last reply was from phone sorry if I was vague. What I meant was when the script is killed using msr 2or4 it doesn't seem to clean up after itself. It leaves the files as they may have been at that moment.

So the next time msr 1or3 is executed (upon screen return) it will return error. Then rename file and script starts again. It just seems that something needs to be added to kill script 2and4 to undo the renaming process that msr 1and3 creates.

when mscr 2 run in current will rename file by circle. After mscr 4 run for kill mscr 2 script you will found one file is rename to "Music+Video.png".

WHAT!!! loedsak you did way to much typing trying to help me with this but tried your file renamed files and added theme and got same results. Reinstalled mort tried a couple of other things, same result.

Then in both MSCR 1 and 3 I deleted all of these { } things and left space and it WORKED ;) and now went back to my theme plus I have both MSCR 1 and 3 running on my desktop at the same time. Which is very cool. And also made MSCR 5 and 6 for my games dock on desktop2. Why were { and } in the files if they cause the errors?

So if anyone is having problems with animation script. Just delete all instances of these brackets "{ }" from MSCR 1and3. Not sure if it is a rom or regional thing. I could get script to start but would error upon script execute (page return) because of the brackets "{ }". I'm sure I am not the only that had errors with animation.

1. In wad settings un-check (if you have it checked) "run on a soft-reset".

2. Reboot phone (necessary to make sure scripts are killed and not running)

3. Don't do anything with wad....

4. Make sure you have pecco's folder in "\Program Files\Lakeridge\WisBar Advance Desktop\Themes\"

5. replace scripts 1&3 with the ones from below in "\Program Files\Lakeridge\WisBar Advance Desktop\Themes\WP7_pecco"

MSCR1and3.zip

6. Go to "_images" folder and check that the image files for animation are named as indicated below.

Pictures2_0.png

Pictures2_1.png

Pictures2_2.png

Music+Video2_0.png

Music+Video2_2.png

If one of the files is missing a number sequence after it IE "Music+Video.png" rename it to the missing file in the sequence.

7. Start wad.

8. Animation will not start right away. Tap pictures icon and then tap go back to homepage. And it should be error free. The problem I had was because there were symbols in the script that did not need to be there and would the cause error.

9. Reset whether you had wad starting on reboot.

In my post I had quotes "" on file names. Don't use those. And can you elaborate on the type of error you are getting back.

For the purposes of the screen preview .gif all icons change at same time but in the theme they are set up at different time intervals. I have had a lot of fun making this to my taste. WAD is very cool.

that's just a gif I made with screenshots to show icon potential. frames per second really doesn't apply as the animations are just a slide show of icons with different time intervals. not the eye candy of throttle as the omnia in my opinion can't handle that. wad and omnia are perfect together.

entire theme folder needs to be copied to. "program files/lakeridge/wisbar advance desktop/themes" must be on device. or you could edit each Mortscript file yourself to a specific location.
