Latest Official English ROM - 6.5.3 ?

Friends / Experts,

I have been using Secanny's ROM so far.

Now I am trying JA5 Singapore version....which is no different than the Secanny's Feb-10 ROM.

Both of'em lags in Touch....touch response is not good...responds after 2 taps.

I need an official latest English ROM.

Suggestions appreciated

I was using the taiwan JC1 rom which was very good, but I have just flashed the european JC1 rom to see how it works, I'm still loading things up, they both have english language, you could also try the new honkong rom JC2 which has english language. As for an actual latest english rom or if you mean uk rom there is none.

This thread is for those who try official English ROM from samsung.

Any one can report their findings about the latest official English ROM.

The latest one I tried was released on Mar-15...from Kies.

It is good, no issues.

Any ROM there after?

Hope this helps or just search for JD3 ROM using the search box on this site and you will see a thread started by twu2 on JD3 ROM leak from Kingmobile.net. Download the uploaded ROM ( it is in different parts) by this member.

There's an official uk update on quattros mobile firmware downloader,

GT-I8000_I8000NXXJA5_I8000XEUJA5_I8000XXJA3_I8000XEUJA5_XX_XEU.zip.enc

Its a JA5 rom, I flashed this one a couple of days ago and I'm really pleased with it, its fast and the memory leak is quite stable so if your looking for a 6.5 rom try this :huh:

I am in Australia and the i8000 is from Singapore. Can I flash it w/ this rom ? or should i wait for a new version for Singapore?

Follow the ROM flashing procedure....you should be able to flash any rom in your i8000.
