Guest Apolousm Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 Hello everybody I wanted to know if you guys have the same problem like me. The point is that when I flash a new ROm on the Phone it always gives me an advice about installing the GARMIN XT software. If I say "yes" the software tries to get installaed on the phone but inmediatly afetr it says that it has found some kind of error and the software doesn't install. Th error is something about the free space or something like that. It happenes sometimes when I unlug the phone from the computer too. Any advice? any idea? does the new roms comes with the garmin XT ready to be installed? Thanks for any help

Guest abdelrahim Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 Yes...that is the autorun file...deleting it will also stop the program running after every time you restart the phone...
Guest Lancez Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 Yes...that is the autorun file...deleting it will also stop the program running after every time you restart the phone... u can just create a .lnk of QuePPC.exe from garmin\app\wm\ to windows\start program\, its just a autorun file, to install garmin files in program folder, nothing more. and it only works when u hard reset or flash ur phone. im using cracked Garmin and it works just like the official one.
Guest Apolousm Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 lanz where could I get the cracked garmin?

Guest MenosOcho Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 thanks a lot bro... it was a simple solution but for me was like discovering boiling water jajajajajaja...thanks :( well, i use GarminXT and delete 2577 (autorun) folder is safe but not the best solution. you get the install msg. every time that you unplug the phone from computer because you're using it as USB instead of ActiveSync Settings/General Settings/USB Connections --> select active sync. it happen because when you use your phone like USB pendrive, WM "disconnect" My Storage and Storage Card from WM session (similar to unplug action), then when you unplug the phone from computer, WM detect them again and execute the autorun folder. if you flash your phone, it's similar situation: first boot --> detect autorun folder and execute the file there (Garmin installer). regarding to installation fail msg., i'm not sure, you should provide more info. when installer run again, try select StorageCard (where you 2577 and Garmin app folders are located), I assume that you're using StorageCard instead of MyStorage because the flash process should delete the internal memory. don't install Garmin in your main memory. good luck :P
