Guest Bryan W. Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 (edited) Since my eyes have opened to the world of titanium and chome, I have been looking over these plugins. One I really wanted was taskanium, however for the life of me I can't get it to work on the omnia 2. I don't know if its me, the software, or the rom. I can seem to get it to install, but the plugin does not appear in the list on titanium. Any ideas? Omnia 2 - yardi rom (latest) Tried: ZIP method, CAB methods, even directly editing the titanium and titaniumextended cprs in case of res issue Chome shoes the plugin is installed and enabled. With and without .net 2 (.net 3.5 is in the rom) Thank you for input. EDIT: For the record, I have a feeling it is a resolution issue and the CPR, but I don't know how to fix it. The page says it supports WVGA. UPDATE: Just wanted to add, I'm having trouble getting any plugins to work. They are all WVGA supported. I've tried: Titanium Weather (and more) by showaco [All Resolutions] Program Tab by sector [VGA, WVGA, QVGA, WQVGA] Favorite People Plugin by AppStar [All Resolutions] Titanium Notifications [QVGA + VGA] (in the thread is an updated one supporting WVGA) [APP][WM6.5]Titanium CommManager [v0.32] test for All Resolution Am I doing something really wrong? I can't speak for Yardi's rom as I am not using it, but by default the Omnia 2 cannot use standard Titanium plugins. This is because it uses a "SPlugins" CPR file instead of the default "Titanium"CPR. I have fixed this issue in my rom, but if your looking for the 6.5.x (start menu on the bottom) style then you don't want mine. Edited April 7, 2010 by Ninja4Hire
Guest Shemmy Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 The issue is fixed in Yardi's ROMs as well.
Guest Bryan W. Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 The issue is fixed in Yardi's ROMs as well. Well I have Yardi's, the ltest before the time bomb patch. Does anyone know the fix exactly, so I can verify its working? Is there something in the SPlugins_480x800.CPR file or other cpr I can check? Or any other idea... Otherwise, the only alternative is to give ninja's a try and see how it goes. Which isn't so bad because I have to flash out this time bomb anyways....
Guest Bryan W. Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 I don't know if it significant or not. Yardis rom has two cprs, Titanium and TitaniumExtended. In the CHome registry, CPRfile key is set to TitaniumExtended, however, installed plugins do not update that file. They only update the Titanium file. Does that make a difference? In any case I copy the missing parts of xml from one to the other and I made no change to the screen. So perhaps I am missing how to edit a cpr directly.
Guest Bryan W. Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 I just thought I would add that Yardi's ROM just did not work. I tried and tried to find out why. I installed Ninja's rom and it worked instantly.
