i cannot connect to the internet using G-carbon rom

i cannot connect to emails server nor browsing also the "The internet" connection is not there

any help please ?

Did you sychronised first your device? Because I had that problem... and I didn't sychronise my device before!

Or, did you try to set MANUALLY your settings?

USB Cable + PC + i900 = Synchronized.

That's extreme odd! If you connect your i900 with your PC via USB cable (and your DSL is fine), you CAN'T "avoid" to connect with the Net! It's impossible... Something's wrong, not about the rom I mean.

no it is related to the rom as when i try to send/receive i got error msg that something is wrong in my connection settings !

With G-Carbon v2 M2Dv2 rom of K.Radd, I never had problem like that. Like I said, find your provider's settings (manual) - they can send it to you, in .pdf format - and manually do the settings.

I suspect you have done the operator trick as It's also affecting wifi, right :P If it's not that something did go wrong when you flashed so do a hard reset. Just to make sure you said that your phone connected fine with the router " but not internet " and nothing new is done to that router like reset, settings or firmware. The phone is also not optimized with something like sk tools ? If all of that is true then it's a hard reset. Adc might also help you but sometimes it can not be installed but try

I found with these builds that if you disable bluetooth you can connect to the net with Internet sharing.

Just wanted to know if there is a way to install the standard Samsung Keyboard?

I get a error when trying to install it.

I like using a finger friendly keyboard.

Also could you please Place the GPS Standard Cab on mediafire as im having trouble

downloading from rapidshare.

What you need Samsung keyboard for, mate? The "JN Foundation" ported the LG keyboard, almost identical with Samsung keyboard!

I returned back to PUJA1 because there's no any problem with this phone firmware. Battery load is such as with ZHIE1, but ZHIE1 fails when I use GPS. Position error is about a few hundreds (!) meters. :P

There was probably a conflict (phone firmware vs ROM).

PUJA1 is the best in signal; athough, is awful in battery life (comparing with XBIC1).

supposed u tried the basic method, but just to refresh :

start\setting\connection + go to toolbar then choose Advance\select networks\ go to Programs that auto connect to internet TAB\ choose My Work Network

method 2 : Change different Operator Setting, wait then change back then continue as stated above...

not sure for other files but for M2D .png I thought righ clicking them and removing read only property was enough :P using Neo anyway so I cannot try.

are you modifying a theme or something? can you copy them to pc, take read only property on pc, make your changes, put read only again and copy back to pc :P not sure really, does it let you overwrite the file? I know for sure it works with M2D themes but with any other windows image I don´t know...

I have a few problems with the version i908 ZUIF2 Vs. XBIJ1 WM 6.5.X build 23563 Manila2D V2 G-Carbon Update 24.04.10:

1) When I want to write a new SMS, I get the wrong buttons at the bottom. I need the square and the send button. When I click the Menu button, it's fixed, but before that, it's like shown in the screenshot below.

2) The number "8" from my clock is damaged... The other numbers work fine...

3) I cannot turn on the location service (but I do have internet...)

4) I cannot add a location myself to update the weather from the M2D theme. It's always in grey.

Any advice?

1. don´t know.

2. 8 must be your unlucky number.... :D no seriously did you hard reset after flash? it´s a must with this roms.

3. hum... :P should work after you update your city, not sure.

4. hit update, wait a little and first remove hamburg, then it will let you add your city, trust me it works.

my advice: get this little things fix try it a little bit so you get familiar with everything and HARD RESET.
