Guest Charlton22
I was interested in rooting my acer liquid for various reasons, the first was for Market Enabler... I followed this procedure Acer Liquid Root and was carried out successfully. I also installed 0.0008.006 bin successfully. I was told that I may not be rooted yet as the Market Enabler is not working. I got an error "We have a problem Huston" Is there any way to check if i'm rooted or not? Or someone could help me in this? I thought that once I installed the 0.0008.006 i was rooted... It don't seem so.. I'll appreciate your help, Thanks

Guest teunke99
But i still don't have root access :S you're almost there adb remount adb reboot recovery phone will restart and you'll see the recovery menu. There's a root menu as well. Go there using volume buttons and menu button to select. As an alternative you can also download LCR1.3, copy the zip file to your SD and apply it, through the recovery menu. Your phone will be rooted too, plus very stable with good battery life. If you choose this alternative (recommended), don't forget to wipe(in recovery menu) GL Edited April 9, 2010 by teunke99

Guest teunke99
abd remount -- remount failed - operation not permitted debug is on? if you can't get it to work you can always turn off your phone, hold camera and volume down button will hitting the power button. Phone will start in recovery mode. ps the batch file you've used a couple off steps back should contain the cmd that made your phone reboot. See if there's info in there that might come in handy.
