Guest myrat Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 (edited) Hi there, my Omnia II is behaving very strangely these days. It auto rotates in every direction in any program! It's very irritating. How do I stop this or disable the screen rotation altogether? I'm using this ROM http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-...et-by-sonblack/ I know some programs enable auto rotation in every program but I didn't install them. Or does it come with the ROM? How do I check? I don't have "autorotation.ink" under my \windows\startup Any help is greatly appreciated! This is driving me crazy! Edited April 8, 2010 by myrat

I see that in Sonblack ROM, this is installed Orientation Detection v1.0.3584.9343 for Omnia II , this would allow your phone to detect orientation when u turn your phone in any directions. Look for this app in your phone to disable the auto detection. If you cannot find it, go into file explorer and into windows folder to look for the app. Hope this helps :P

Guest myrat Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 Have found the cause - surprisingly it's Opera 10!!! Apparently my screen rotates in every program in every direction once I have Opera running, even in the background. Once I exits it everything is back to normal. Now I have to think of an alternative browser...
